Loads of good LG deals of late, just a shame the picture quality is not my cuppa. Some people seem to really like them but all the ones ive setup in businesses or seen in the shops seem to have really shoddy image quality next to the Panasonics, Samsungs etc, guess thats why they cost a little more - but worth the extra for me personally.

Ordered for my Mum. I had hoped to get hold of a Sony for her with similar features after I got the NX503 deal for £365 from very.co.uk after Christmas, but nothing close to matching that.

One or two comments saying "only useful app is iPlayer" - actually this is of huge value and after getting my NX I would never buy a tv without one.

Hoping this is the same sort of quality - if so, can't complain.

Also, 4od can't be far off either - and DemandFive (if that floats your boat!)

Like jpieter I also got this TV around Christmas time from Amazon when it was last at this price. It's a fantastic TV and I've been delighted with it.

Some specifics about how pleased I was are in an Amazon review:

I kind of echo this, wish they'd reduce some of their other prices.

Actually, my bad it's not expired but the link goes to a page where the TV is £492. (it is early...)

To buy click "other buying choices" and choose Amazon.

I agree Panasonic is a good image, i do however own an LG and the picture is superb. I would certainly buy another. Recently my brother purchased a sony and the image was c--p, he sold that and brought a LG and is over the moon with the clarity of the image. My LG is 5 years old and it will stay till it goes wrong, Superb picture. Can these items get any cheaper when you think how much a 28 inch crt cost and now you can get something like this for less than£400: wow

I just bought the 32" version of this TV.I wouldn't say the picture quality was shoddy, but I wouldn't say it was excellent.
On HD it is very good.On SD Freeview it's quite good. There are a lot of alterations you can make to the picture to get it as you want it.
The best feature on the TV I've found is the BBC iPlayer.Quality is very good and you save a lot on data downloaded compared to watching it online.
Tried some file formats on the USB port, and only one it won't play so far is .flv files.
It's a feature packed TV and you sacrifice a little bit of picture quality imo.

I have a LG LCD, and my Dad has a Panny Viera, and his picture is marginly better but he paid about 300 quid more, but has the added bonus of Freesat ( although he has not yet connected it up ).

Says £492.99 + £3,99 shipping at the moment, otherwise would be tempted with the Freeview HD unlike many other current deals.

Anyone know if you can hack this (like 450), so you can watch avi files via usb?

Why is this getting so hot?! I'm have Prime and delivery still says between March and April!!!!

Good price but why would you want to wait that long?

HOT but waiting for a full HD 50" model to start coming down.. They are seem to be pretty stagnant.

Mine came on Wednesday, but the sound on it is faulty - it keeps going lower then it will go off all together, then I have to turn the tv off for the sound to come back on. Contacted Amazon today and they're sending out a replacement (which has already been dispatched) and they're gonna arrange a return.
