An excellent price if all of the cashback goes through, and if I had a need I'd probably be buying... you'll probably get asked to remove the topcashback from the price in a second though, it's not normally allowed. Hopefully the rest should be allowed to stay though!

Just for anyone searching out a decent 3D deal, here's something
http://www.richersounds.com/product/3d-tv/samsung/ue40d6100/sams-ue40d6100

What are going to spend £50 on Tesco though?

knightmare trying to use code 50 off, it did it lappy crashed, now saying cant add accessories, although was going through, tesco says has to be electrical, ordered a £5 toaster, it still said no discount, fine thought add sumit more price, added a £50 clock radio, guess what still no discount. back on fone to tesco, told them whats been going on, they tried and still wouldnt work, so in end guy said buy a toaster cost under a fiver, and we will take full payment and refund you the £50.
phew at last. just wait for tv to arrive on tues now,so basically got it for £454, plus £50 tesco giftcard and clubcard points, effectively under £400. do me nicelylol

Must be a glitch in their system then? When the Tesco lady tried putting it through, it gave her the same error. She said it must be something about the Value toaster not being part of the 'Electricals' section (which is a bit daft). Someone on the original voucher post has found the same error: http://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/50-off-500-00-electricals-tesco-direct/955609

Not complaining anyway, all sorted now :)

Are we able to take the toaster back for a refund after it's been delivered?
#21
theres an error somewhere, i was told no value items cud be added, then because of the issues he do it for me the way above with refund and just add toaster.
as far as taking back, if cant its less than a fiver, lol depends whats on the reciept when comes as toaster arrives seperately 2moz and tv tue

BOO-HOO I phoned but they wouldnt honour it for me. How did you guys get the code honored?

BOO-HOO I phoned but they wouldnt honour it for me. How did you guys get the code honored?

Well.. this one is tough. I called them up before and said the code wasnt working, they said the error was on their system and they could place the order on the phone and get the code to work. But I wanted the TCB and the £50 tesco voucher as well so decided to go online and call post sales (option 2) and get the code honoured.
Anyway the Post support guys said the code is only valid for electricals and not "sound and vision". Luckily I had the details of thelady I spoke to in Pre sales and said I only placed the order after being advised to. 1 call later, they had "authorised" my £50 refund and i got an email to state that.
Anyway, they might give you the same story. But I have just tried the code on a Fridge and a washing machine and it still doesnt work, so it is definitely their system that is wrong. A guy in post 5/6 actually used it so their story is wrong. I'd say you should fight for it. A TV does use electricity and is therefore electrical. the code never said HOME ELECTRICALS!!!
Good luck..
BTW
TV charge £499+£5shipping plus £4.74 toaster= £508.74
£50 instant refund+£50 Tesco voucher+£12.98 TCB (tracked)+£10 clubcard vouchers=£132.98= £375.76
Another thing, I also found £36 worth of very old club card vouchers online (had lost paper copies, but if you login now, they tell you all the vouchers you havent claimed yet) and used them as well. .
Still £375 for a TV this spec and the 32LE7900 was a category winner in the WHAT Hifi magazine, and that was when it cost £1000!!!! I'd say go for this!!

Well cheers for such a complete reply, the reason they gave me was that they couldnt find the voucher on the website even though I gave them the address. Will try again tommorrow, even if I miss out on the TCB but still get the discount and the voucher. Wish me luck, think Im going to need it.

Waiting till Saturday for mine. Moving flat so needed the delivery then.

Has everyones £50 already been credited too their accounts? I was told that it's defniterly happening on mine but that it may take a few days to appear.... not convinced.

Also when it turns up, let us know if you get the GiftCard and whether you ordered over the phone or not.
