With its 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, the 42LF75 is one 42" HD LCD TV that offers explicit detail and breath-taking resolution. Despite its large 42 inch LCD screen, the 42LF75 can be comfortably viewed in smaller than average rooms; such is the quality of the picture when close up. In addition to this the 42" LG HDTV also boasts an impressive contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and, for blur-free action, a class-leading response time of just 5ms.

To make the most of High Definition sources, the 42LF75 also offers a trio of HDMI sockets - ideal for an HD games console as well as HD TV receiver and Blu-ray. Yet, LG hasn't forgotten about analogue. Twin SCART sockets are backed up by a handy PC input, component and S-Video connections. You'll also find a digital optical output to compliment the standard digital, Freeview, tuner.

Here’s a link to the Product Page on LG’s website.

There’s a brief review at Absolutegadget; they gave it 9/10:

“Overall, at the price it is certainly one of the best 42-inch models we've seen at the lower end of the market.”
