Beware - Best Buy take FOREVER to pay Quidco. I'm still waiting to be paid from a purchase in December! :(

I bought a TV from them in January. From date of debit until the Quidco cashback was in my cheque account, took 15 weeks 1 day.

I can't find a review for this TV. Other TVs worthy of consideration & with good reviews include:

Toshiba 40RV753 http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/toshiba-40rv753-40rv753b-20110118924.htm
Samsung LE40C530 http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/samsung-le32c530-le40c530-20100813815.htm
LG 42LD450 http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/lg-32ld450-42ld450-20101120901.htm

The Toshiba includes HD Freeview £349 delivered from Amazon. The Sammy & LG appear almost weekly on HUKD.

Both LCD , All it is the light source lighting edge light CCFL or edge/direct back-lit LED

Does it have a built in espresso machine? If not then I'm voting cold...

Ive just bought a 32" LED tv, cant say im very impressed with it as the corners show brighter light than the rest of the screen. Id stick with LCD in future and LG make some good LCD tvs

I was just about to buy a 42 inch Isis brand from Best Buy today for my ma, saw this one instead and jumped on it. Reserved online Hedge End as it said only one left. Picked it up fine they had 30 in stock. Set it up at ma's and I'm pretty impressed, very thin and light, pretty good sd picture and plays films easily from usb stick. Just need to get her an hd source now as she thinks she already has hd as it says it on the telly. All in all cracking bang for your buck.

Hard to say in the absence of a Review. You can check the customer feedback at Amazon & the LG Forum at http://www.avforums.com/forums/lg-forum/

Personally, I wouldn't buy a TV in the absence of a favourable review at http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk or http://www.avforums.com/reviews/index.php or http://www.which.co.uk , but I'm probably in a small minority in that view.

Just ordered one, perfect, was looking for HD Freeview + boxes but was going to pay around £150-£170. I don't mind if its B grade as its got a year warranty so should work ! Thanks again for the heads up.

Same price at Amazon, but I couldn't resist the 8% cashback, even though it seems to be hit or miss. Free delivery even on Sunday!

[Bite] You are an idiot who likes to troll. Obviously a Sony fan boy, also I bet you also own an IPad, Iphone 4 and probably an Alienware PC you know nothing and follow advertising/brandnames, not now good a product is. Who actually made the screen on your Sony (not sony themselves since they dont make them) LG make good sets and at a good price too! So please leave these threads people who are helpful give good advice and actually know what they are talking about.

Anybody know how this fares in gaming? I play fps's a lot and excessive motion blur would be something that puts me off. Also like to watch high def movies and TV to a lesser extent.

EDIT - Also noticed this is only 50Hz, I thought 60Hz was minimum standard now?
