£304.00 @ TJ Hughes
Yes its not 1080p nor is it LED,3D,100 hz or whatever. Yes I know for £50 more you could get this or for £1000 more you could get that. So what do we have here? ITS A VERY CHEAP 42 INCH TV!…

So what do we have here?

ITS A VERY CHEAP 42 INCH TV!! -

Found it in TJ Hughes Southend on Sea and these priced at £380. However TJ Hughes are having a 20% off everything promotion which brought the price down to a rather nice £304!

I have never seen this cheaper - actually, Im yet to come across ANY 42 inch TV for this price.

On a personal note, I stood there and compared to the 42LD450 screen that was there and also other 1080p LCDs and decided to get this 720p set because the picture just seemed so much better. Probably just me.

For some reason this TV is not online but they had 3 and the guy I bought it from said a lot of stores have them. Also some "better" TVs can be found but are not online so even if this particular one is not for you, go and have a browse in your local store and you might get a deal with the 20% off.

By the way...Yes I do have proof!

All done...start firing!

Bought 2 of 42PQ3000 (similar model at the time) for over a year. Picture is excellent so would expect this to be the same?
Voted hot.

Wow - why so defensive OP? oO It's informative enough in terms of instore deals and seems like a good deal if that's what you're looking for.

Well, seeing as youve already scanned your receipt (assuming that IS your receipt in the little photo) you just have to click on the "image icon" at the top of the posting area and insert the images code (from hosting) and then post.

Without the proof (which you said you have) the deal is neither here nor there and it cant be beleived.

This deal sounds pretty genuine to me - they did have these online before christmas at £399 so thatd be roughly £320

Theres every possibility theyve come down in price...

Good price OP (oh, and a deal of mine got to 500 degrees minus proof - then it soared to nearly 2000 :P)

He's been on hotdeals for 18 months. I'm fairly sure we can give him the benefit of any doubt. What would he have to gain by posting a deal for a TV?

Perhaps we could see 'before' and 'after' pics of the OP's nose?

That's the cheapest 600Hz TV I've ever seen
#21
I bought one of these from comet for 349 quid in their sales about 4 weeks ago. Not a bad tv and not a good one either, its all i could afford at the time. The worst thing about it is the mirror like effect when light reflects on the screen. With nights getting lighter i reckon my curtains will be permanently closed come spring!

I found it instore. As stated in the original post, these (and other models) are not on the website but can be found instore. Was told this by the sales guy I bought mine from.

Great TV, I paid 350 just after christmas for one of these...wish I'd waited :P

great deal m8 thx for posting it

thumbs up!!!

i thought 600mhz meant that a tv with that spec could do 3d ? is that not the case ?
#33
TJH strike again. How do they make any money on these things?
#34
Good price for the TV.
The OP went into a lot of detail in the post .If people are so disbelieving all they have to do is phone up their local store.Too many sceptics on here.
Heat added.

my OH said no, but still voted hot :D

I actually already own this television, and I must say - for the price, it's faultless. Despite the fact it doesn't seem to promote it, both my Xbox and PS3 output at 1080p and it's so sharp. Brilliant price for it!
