however if you read the reviews on here and also the official owners forum for the LG 42PJ350 on the AVForums website you'll see many owners contradict what others are saying.

I got the next model up, the PJ550 when it was a similar price at Currys. Great set for the price, i'm no expert though but upgrading from a 28" CRT to a 42" plasma, how could it not get better.

Yeah, I got the 42PJ550 too from Curry's nearly 2 weeks ago for £348 with Quidco and 5% off voucher code. It got delivered a couple of days ago. Awesome T.V for the price!!

I bought this TV about a month ago and its been a great purchase, i originally had a 42" panasonic lcd bought but after seeing this instore i switched my purchase. Very smooth picture, I game alot also in Hd and this looks awesome on ps3, i played around with the picture settings to get it perfect as the original game settings did not look great.

Would highly recommend the tv, its also one of the best looking tvs I have came accross with the thin razor frame.

I've learnt where the price seems too good to be true and the listing negates to list the resolution, that it most definitely is not full HD.

the resolution question is a good one... someone find out the answer and take note of it.... I bought a similar model... full HD apparently... I've since found the max resolution to be 1024x768 which is rubbish! Also after about 18mths LG sets tend to suffer a terrible red snow effect on the pack sections of fast moving action.... So far in claims under the Sale of Goods Act, 1979 I've had £750 in repairs covered by Curries... they've now replaced the set as they see the model as a money looser!!!! be careful with LG.

this has expired now...anything similar anywhere else ?
