A great looking 42" plasma tv which has got some decent reviews. IMHO looks more impressive than the recent Panny C10 (new tech, full glass front).

It's on a 3 day countdown offer - so you might have to get your skates on! Listed as £499 but £490 with the discount code listed on the page: Pixuk09051

4% quidco would knock another £20 off the price, bringing it back to about £490!!

Next cheapest price looks like Dixons at £584, its over £600 elsewhere.

Thanks, been looking at that Tv for a while and the cheaper price sealed the deal,

Went through Top cashback so should see £15 return from that:thumbsup:

Got this from Dixons for £550 1 week ago. This is a fantastic deal. This TV is great and has got many more features than the Panny everybody is raving about for the same price.

At the moment I am running it in but blacks are most wounderous and coulors extremely vivid and lifelike.

Get one you will not be dissapointed.

Runs the PX10 VERY close and some would say there's nothing between them. IMHO this is the best TV deal out there at the moment.

HOT HOT HOT

Thing is if he bought it from pixmania and tried to return it... good luck :whistling: You are out on your own... At least richers will be able to get any problems sorted. Pixmania truely do have ghastly customer service....

However this is an excellent price for an excellent television, which has *better* sound and picture quality than the panasonic x10 also looks nicer

Why?
#18
picture was not great (nowhere near as good as the toshiba one we got for £50 more today) av button was useless just worked when it wanted to and Sound was 'tinny'
#19
Oh well.

I've just gone for it 'cos I know it's the dog's for just over £500.

Just got to sneak it past SWMBO and then rig up our existing 42" for the kids gaming stuff.

I'm gonna get a Dad of the Year award from them and a bit of a kicking from the boss when she finds out:p

thats odd, i find the pic good, no issue with the remote, but the thing which surprises me most is your comments on sound.

the sound on this set is one of its main strengths. excellent sound from the built in speakers.

Why is this expired? It's still on Pix for £499....

Anyone got theirs and care to comment on the quality of picture/ sound?

thanks
