43 inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV With Freeview Play. Also has Freesat if you choose to connect up a satellite dish to it.

Not the best 4K TV on the market due to RGBW screen, but at £349 it's one of the cheapest and has great reviews. 6 Year Guarantee Too!:D

Heat. Regardless of the pixel jiggery pokery, it's got good reviews, 6 year warranty and it's one of the cheapest prices around at the moment. :D

Fake 4K. If you want this then go ahead :)http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/image/article/rgbw/rgbw-text.jpg

I would rather by a decent 1080p set than one of these fake 4K sets.

Does Sky support 4K or HDR? Do you need the latest Bluray DVDs to enjoy it?
#7
I would double check whether this actually has freeview play - my understanding was xxUH603 series were not being upgraded by LG.

Unfortunatly there are plenty of haters out there. They seem to forget this is HotUKDeals and confuse it for some kind of review site.

Have one sitting in my living room, it 100% has freeview play.

What do people mean fake 4k?

Can someone explain also what you want to be looking for when buying a 4k tv, I.e HDR (what's this?), 10 bit 8 bit etc?

Thanks

Try the av forums website. Lots of good advice & reviews there. HotUKDeals is simply intended for posting good deals (though you wouldn't believe it sometimes.)

That's good to hear :) (the model had been missed off the upgrade list: https://www.freeview.co.uk/news-and-blog/features/freeview-play-launches-on-lg-tvs.html#74RcBUKkXpmy6XoR.97 )

If someone wants a 4K tv, then I think it's only fair to point out when 4K isn't necessarily 4K! Could make it a less hot deal for some.

Came out of the box with it. It seams mainly the LG TV's not to get Freeview Play as an OTA upgrade are the more expensive OLED ones, as it's assumed by LG that owners would already have provisions in place to accomodate catchup TV.

lowest bottom tv in the market with RGBW, therefore not even a real 4k tv.
Vestel are a much better value

I think you're missing the point of HotUKDeals. It's to show people where to get Hot UK Deals on a particular item; the clue is in the name of the website ;) Your comment has no relevance to this websites sole function. May I be so bold as to suggest you sign up to a review forum, where you can take part in the type of remark / discussion that you seem to be under the misguidance this site is for (_;) I'd be very interested to get a link to the Vestel branded unit that is "much better value" with 6 year warranty and carrying the same specification, albeit with true RGB pixels. :D

As folk above has said it used RGBW to spoof a 4k effect from what is closer to 3k in effect. Still, it's cheap enough
