4K is pointless on 43" TV. Do a bit of research, and you'll learn that you need at least 55" for 4K to notice the difference.

4k is pointless for most people, but most sets are now 4k.

I have this TV. have it for 3 months. it replaced an old 1080p plasma, 39 inch. I did an enormous amount of research prior to buying, reading opinions from every tom, dick and harry. every second comment for every 4k posted seems to mention faux k and all that crap. people read technical forums and all of a sudden they are rocket scientists. this is not a dig at the previous comment, everyone has a different technical proficiency. I have a PC hooked up to this TV, 6700k running over clocked 980ti. I play forza horizon 3 , dark souls games, the division all at 2160p, various quality settings. the 4k is astounding , trust me. I have watched the revenant, Lawrence of Arabia op
etc all in 4k....also in 4k, simply beautiful. if u r coming from 1080p, this TV is a fantastic upgrade, sure probably not as amazing as a £2000 proper hdr, non faux, fortunately, I'm not smart enough to tell the difference. take a chance, buy it, u will not be disappointed. LG have not paid me for these words

I'm only sitting about 4ft from the screen mate, 55" would be way too big, it's just for Xbox and PlayStation.

my friend, just make sure your source supports 4k resolution. xbox one s supports 4k movies but not games. PlayStation pro supports 4k games not standard ps4. PC with supported graphics card is best solution IMO but obviously not practical for everyone. I wouldn't buy this TV if u do not intend to have a 4k capable source. it will not improve 1080p source devices.

Yeah it's for the PS Pro, my Xbox doesn't get much love and I certainly would never watch a movie up there anyway.
