This is the same price as Richer Sounds but if you are like me, Argos is easier to actually get to and there is plenty of stock around the Midlands (I've checked).

Picked one up myself and got a £10 Argos gift card in as well.

Great picture (in my eyes), 3D is fab and smart functions are well thought out TB.

no 5 year warranty, so not as good as Richer Sounds, Argos charge you £93.99 extra just for 3 years!

John Lewis have this TV at £598.95 with 5 year warranty. Can you price match with them and get the 5 years?

Which funnily enough disappears when you enable motion flow, wondered why they would include such a feature :p

What type of mountings, hooks, brackets?

Great TV. I bought this from Richersounds last week and the 3D is excellent (only watched 5 minutes of an active 3D set so can't say which is better really, but the glasses are so much cheaper with passive.

The Magic Remote for this is currently £29.99 in Currys (reduced from £39.99). This makes the smart tv apps and web browser so much better to use.

John Lewis is going to price match it for me. i am just trying to decide if this is the right tv...

498 in Currys

5 year warranty available at Richer Sounds or John Lewis might be worth pursuing, but good deal if those options are not available. John Lewis may be best bet as am currently having problems with Richer Sounds honouring mine. They keep offering replacement TVs that are much lower quality and that don't have equivalent specifications to the TV that they sent back as repaired when it wasn't...

you defo need the 5yr on this, I have this telly which went faulty (red light prob) just out of the12month warranty . Had to fight tooth and nail to get lg to fix it. LG customer service is the worse in the world.

Sonic direct in Bradford also stocking this TV for £499. I picked one up for my Brother on Sunday, Its a nice TV for the price.
It is quite chunky though, but still good value for a 47"

If you have a recent android or apple smart fone, you can do that on them too without spending anything! :D

What is the best remote app to use from the apple App Store? Thanks.

There's £20 off at Currys on O2 Priority if you spend over £200. Though I'm thinking I'd rather have a RicherSounds 5 year guarantee.

Anyone got this TV and recommend? Seems like the only LG with decent spec and under £500 at the moment.

£649.99 - Expired?

My folks have the 42" version of this tv, it really does have a beautiful picture - gaming and full hd content looks stunning on it. I'm saving up now to try and get the 47" for my place - I would recommend it ! What I liked was it had the plex app on it, so I could stream all my HD content straight to it including 3d movies etc with no problems whatsoever.
