Ok guys BEFORE you give a negative to this can you at least state WHY, if its a case of your not interested in the item or the price then simply DON'T GIVE FEEDBACK, if its a case of you can get it cheaper elsewhere or something similar spec for a lot less POST WHERE

This website (last time I checked) was HotUKDeals not 'I dont like that' or 'too expensive and as its not for me NEG Feedback FTW'

Come on guys play ball

This is a very, very good tv at a tempting price. I can only assume the cold voters are measuring the size against the price, which is a schoolboy error.

The AVForums review says it all.

Currys - 1700 - http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/lg-infinia-47le8900-47-full-hd-led-tv-05270781-pdt.html
Electro Centre - 1275 - http://www.electrocentreltd.com/viewproduct.asp?pid=6237 - (never head of them personally)
Pixmania - 1669 - http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/5677188/art/lg/infinia-47le8900-47-full.html?srcid=867

From what I can see op that's a good chunk cheaper than most infact if you ignore the Electro Centre price (unknown company) you would be saving hundreds... voted hot, thanks op, little out of my price range but good find

Sadly doesn't look like Which have reviewed this, but as Sulphur Man mentioned check out the AV Forums review, EXCEEDINGLY HIGH Quality Tv, and very reasonable price for what your getting (most places are reviewing it at 1700 so 1200ish is a bargain)

Thanks guys, I also don't get the cold votes in this one.

I've spent a lot time looking (online/shops) for a TV and this one caught my attention with superb picture but @ £1699 was out of my price range - so was really happy to find it for this price.

This is much better then Samsung LED 8000 series for a lot less without the edge backlight bleeding/clouding issues.

Don't sweat it. Alot of people whizz by, see a TV for £1000+ and vote cold on it without any idea of what they are actually looking at.

Looks like a good TV and a good deal - heat added :)

Sooooooooooo tempted to get this. :(

Before I got this - week ago - I've had Sony's 46EX703 for a couple days (decided to return it due the cracking plastic noises) - although the edge LED backlight was better than Samsung's it was still noticeable and the blacks were poor so really happy to jump on this one.
Not to mention excellent out of the box calibration.

Anyone looking for a great LED TV - go to the Currys/PCWorld you'll see why it scores that high.

[EDIT] If that helps anyone - why I went for LED:
Ruled out plasma's due to the buzzing noise / heat / power and image retention.
Ruled out LCD's due to the worse blacks and heat / power / thickness. Only decent ones (like Panasonic) were only 42 inch.
Ruled out 3D LED's due to visible ghosting/crostalk. Being Nvidia's 3DVision user I was surprised how poor 3D on TV was.

So ended with a range of LED TVs and having spent hours in the shops testing wife's patience this one proved to be the winner :)

Voted hot as its the best price around at the moment and its a nice tv,anyone willing to wait a few weeks or so though then do as everywhere will be dropping their prices to roughly around this price and maybe 1 or 2 will be slightly cheaper.
