all LCD or PLASMA tvs have a pixel response rate that is ONE THOUSAND TIMES SLOWER than a CRT TV.

I only just found this out, but explains why they all have problems with motion blur, and generally look like tripe.

All Plasmas have motion blur problems and look like tripe?

You've been mislead my friend.

A few years ago that may have been the case, but technology has come a long way. There's plenty of LCD and plasma TV's that don't have motion blur problems.

LCD does but plasma does not. Also fancy new technology has compensated for this. Your looking tripe opinion mostly comes from stretching a Standard def picture to fit a 42" screen.

Ooh, they really didn't like it at What Hi Fi. Seems below average in nearly every department.

anyone know much about argos free warranty.
my parent in law were after a tv, rang up to enquire and all they could get was "its not done through us" from the girl on the phone.

You may want to check IEEE regulations - as far as I'm aware the TV doesn't have an IP rating and since there are NO zone 3's in bathrooms any more I'd like to see how you're going to wire it in.
