I know you're supposed to post a pic but I didn't have my phone on me. Couldn't find this posted elsewhere. It's not even listed on their websites for some reason.

Anyway it's £83 more than the LG 47LH3000 (Comet deal), but it has USB connectivity and 100hz refresh.

I think i'll go for this. I haven't read a bad review.

47LH4000
The LH4000 series provides HD Ready 1080p picture resolution with LG Tru-Motion 100Hz technology to fully experience the very best in High Definition entertainment.

TruMotion 100Hz
TruMotion 100Hz can reduce blurring on fast moving scenes by
displaying one hundred images per second. Standard TV sets only display fifty images per second so more information means higher quality.

Freeview/Digital
With LG, youll be ready for the digital switchover. By 2012, all areas of the UK will receive TV in digital as opposed to analogue. Freeview is a subscription free service which brings up to 48 digital TV channels including ITV2, E4, BBC3, and Film4, plus 24 digital radio stations, no contract and no satellite dish.

To check if you can receive Freeview in your area, text your postcode followed by your house number or name to 83331* or visit http://www.freeview.co.uk.

Invisible Speaker
The front bezel works as a speaker, replacing the normal speaker grill. With the Invisible Speaker System, the speakers are embedded in strategic spots underneath and around the front bezel. They enhance the audio by increasing the sweet spot to give a wider and richer sound field. This speaker system provides a clean and fashionable design compared with traditional side or bottom speaker designs.

USB
The USB 2.0 feature allows you to connect a USB mass storage device to your LG product in order to play audio (MP3) files and display JPEG images.

Hi
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.
Emmajk42 / Juliet_Bravo wrote a couple of very comprehensive and excellent guides for newcomers to HUKD here: - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/145906/newcomers-advice-on-hotukdeals-gene/

They are well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.
Kind regards Andy

yeah and your point is:??

get with the times, ps3, xbox 360, blu ray, hddvd and also anything you can upscale to 1080p, 1080p is a must if you are going to buy a new tv or its out of date straight away!!

Officially you can't, but with a little settings change it will play both 720p/1080p DivX and MKV files via USB (I've done this on my 42LH4000, and it works like a dream).

While the TV is off, press OK on remote and TV together at same time and turn the TV on. About 5 seconds later the request for password appears - type 0000 and press OK - go to service option 3 and change DivX to HD.

If you don't get the service menu you may just need to roll back to older firmware, lots of people have done this with success.

Why is this listed as expired? Who could possibly know if it has expired until at least tomorrow? I was hoping to buy this tomorrow!

Just saw that... I hate these decisions. It's so much money is all.

If you've got the money, and are keen to upgrade, then you need not worry choosing the 50PS3000.

if you don't have the money, then simply hold off, save more, and by then there will undoubtedly be more good offers available.

only problem is the waiting list :-(
#27
just went to order and the waiting list is now 85 people for 64 tvs.

i went to order but the system said end of line stock and i was advised against ordering.
#28
Well went to my store today and asked to buy it. Apparantly some stock which is displayed in-store is only available for delivery.

I called up Curry's and they said no stores stock this item but they could deliver it for me by Tuesday - don't understand why you guys are in a waiting list if that's the case? Maybe it's the area.

Delivery is free though.

Don't want to wait until Tuesday though, so am looking at other options - :whistling:

I know that's ridiculous...

What does that mean? Just that they will be out of stock or the TVs are not being produced anymore (worrying if so)
