I have the 32" of this one and its very good, if you're looking for a tv with not so many bells and whistles, its isn't that bad and full 1080 as well.I picked it up for £249 a couple of months ago, so I'm happy with it at the moment. Infact the 32" version of this is about £230.00 at richer sounds as I type out (but their stock is very very limited and you'd have to call up your nearest one to see if they have it).

I might be wrong but these will have a LNB port where you can connect dish and get all freesat channels (without the EPG).

Could anyone shed some light on what the 'intelligent sensor' does?

It automatically optimizes the picture to the lighting and colour conditions in the room for a more enjoyable viewing experience.

I was really interested as I love LG products but it only has 2 HDMI ports whereas I think nowadays a TV should have a minimum of 3.

so the guy who said it's basically crap, was probably watching it with a kid flicking the light switches on and off like mad

Got a 42 and a 47 inch LG. First thing I did on both was change more to "game" so footballs etc didn't look like the trail you see on a 1980 asteroids arcade machine (a wee reference there for the 40+ yr old gamers!) There is probably a reason why LG don't have their TVs default to "game" but its a no brainer. If anyone in this day and age only adjusts colour, brightness, contrast etc then they deserve the picture quality they get.

I got the 47 inch and love it also after setup you can claim a 3 months movie pass and 9 sky sports day passes for now tv on the home screen.

BE (also) WARNED:
I will never buy an LG TV again
The one I bought: latest smart LED 3D (around £1000) developed a fault after a few weeks. LG would not provide a loan TV even a small one.
among the many faults: the screen would half randomly and need a (gentle)slap, the sound would come out of random speakers, the remote would turn on the TV during the night or just change channels.
They would always collect the TV 'within' 5 working days (someone with no ID or uniform) would turn up at anytime
they would keep the TV for a few weeks with no update 'available'
eventually I get a call saying they're delivering it within x number of working days

I called LG for help , they 'couldn't'
after every send back and return the TV just got worse ....so many major parts were changed not much of the original TV was left.

In the end I called Amazon to take it away. I lost money on the extra 3D active glasses (which I still have)

I missed all of Euro'12 , Wimbledon and the Olympics

If LG had genuinely helped me a little more than they 'could' I wouldn't be writing this now. I doubt they saved any ££'s with their policies. I've heard horror stories associated with other big brands, customer service is more important than they account for.
