Guys, you can pick these up for £549 if you haggle in the Currys clearance store in Merryhill, they had a few there the other day.

got any proof to make it with the 2hr drive? - I suspect it might not be the 9900 but the 6900 or soemthing along those lines, as aside from Amazon and Richer no one has this under £1,000

Do yourself a favor and don't feed the troll. He says the same thing in every tv thread. Do yourself a favour and click the ignore button.

I am tempted by this tv. Voted hot.

What's people's thoughts on this tv compared to the Samsung 46D6530?

At least 10% of your budget for a new televisions should be dedicated to effective cabling -preferably HDMI at the latest spec.

you can buy a HDMI cable from Amazon for £1.09 - so are you saying you shud only pay £10.90 for the telly ????:|

Yep. Thats why it is totally irrational to buy a HDMI cable from Amazon for £1.09 for televisions such as this. I think we are getting somewhere!

I couldn't tell if you were trolling or actually serious, so I looked and saw that about 1/3rd of your posts are for premium digital cables. The fact that one of them is mildly warm, another is cold and the third is about -150degs should tell you a lot.

The only reason for buying expensive digital cables is build quality (important if you unplug a lot) or signal degradation over longer runs (i.e. more than the 1m that most people use). If you reckon you can see a difference that's fine, but the brain can play all sorts of tricks on you (especially after you've just blown a wad of cash on something).

As far as I know, every truly 'blinded' test of HDMI cables has failed to demonstrate any difference.

The simplest solution is to not post deals for televisions unless they are made by Sony. I blame the OP.

You can blame me if you like, not really bothered. I realised theres no reason to your post based on you saying I should spent 10% of budget on HDMI cables...cue pointless.

Horacegoesskiing hasn't even got a valid point, the NX713 isn't exactly a great TV anyway, it's a network series so has online stuff, but not in the cinematic series so picture isn't that good. I've seen a few recently and they suffer backlight bleed quite severely and poor contrast!, not in same league as this LG!!
