Great tv so voted hot. Less than the 600 I paid for mine a little over a month ago. The screen does reflect a fair bit but in a dark room it's excellent.
When will they kill of plasmas?

Why would they kill off plasmas when some of the best televisions out there in each of the price ranges are plasmas?
When will they kill of plasmas?

when every one in the would has been fooled into believing that LCD TVs are better than plasma for a cinematic experience ?

enough mindless comments, anyone want to comment about the merits of this TV compared to panasonic plasmas ?

does it do PIP ?

I seen this on mine for a few days but it's alright now. By all accounts any blemished you get at the start iron out with use.
Plasma or LCD?
Doesn't do pip. Reports suggest this tv gets better with age whilst the latest panasonics black levels get worse with age. This tv is much cheaper too..,
waiting for the tv snobs to pick this to bits as per usual.dont know why anyone puts anything electrical on here anymore with the abuse it usually stirs up.
great deal for my money-will be ordering in the morning(when the wife has gone to work!!)
Dont know about gaming but for Freeview or Blu Ray
only one winner Plasma.

Plasma or LCD?

plasma by a mile... get the pioneer krp-600 if you can find one and you won't look at another. Oh sorry you won't be able to get the pioneer at this price range even a used one!!
Plasma or LCD?

You should really go and do some proper research on it.
I love these LG plasmas and plan to get the 50PK590. BUT why are the LG prices falling so rapidly. I've seen the PK590 drop from £900 to less than £649 with in the last 2 months. Are they releasing the new models soon? Anyone knows what's going on?? :|
They always start expensive when first released. New models won't be available till march/april of next year.
2 hdmi is nowhere near enough unless of course you have an hdmi amp with a few. I would need 4 on a tv as I don't have said amp. A modern tv needs at least 3 really.
Excellent price.
Long live plasma TV production.
great price for a great tv. hot
oos now
Why do they have built in freeview ? If they took that out it would make it even cheaper
I thought 2 HDMI ports were a bit tight as well
looks like all sold out!

Yes - they do it deliberately to try make you buy their more expensive models.

All the LGs use the same panel, there's not much difference between them so they need to artificially distinguish between them.
Can't you just use a splitter ? Problem solved.
unexpire still available to order
back in stock
now £585 and oos
Now back down to £554.07 and in stock :)
