Hot from me.

bought one last time it was on offer for a similar price with a discount code and quidco from Dixons. A great 50" TV with a fantastic picture for a great price.

I had one last year, took it back, just wasnt best pleased with the pic on my xbox 360. Stunning TV to look at, quite thin, and the didigtal freeview picture was excellent.
#5
Excellent TV, for the money you cant go wrong ! has its negative points but most people will be more than impressed with it.
#6
There was absolutely no point in posting this deal again, but a good price.

only two HDMI sockets but this easily solved for a couple of quid by buying an multi HDMI switch adapter.

I dont know where you are getting your HDMI switches from but they are certainly not a couple of quid as you suggest, my Aten VS481 4-Port HDMI Switch from Scan was £18 although that was a good one a cheap one is at least a tenner.

Just out of interest what is the position on sending a TV back with the high street retailers and Amazon if you just dont like it? Do they charge you anything or do you have 14 days or something?

When I was researching plasmas this was right up there. I only didn't buy it because I got the LG 50PK990 instead !
#17
dont like as it eats electric unlike lcd... but a good price
#18
I blagged that it was not fit for purpose and exchanged it for an LG 47" LCD, although not as good as this set for SD freeview, IMHO it gives a superior console pic
#19
Good deal, I would prefer 3D tv

Bought one from Dixons on Jan for 540, at the time was the best deal... got 20 off quidco making it 520... Amazing set for the price... its quite reflective and if you have a brightly lit room you want to think hard before taking the plunge... But apart from that can't really complain, awesome TV.

I have one of these and I am happy with it. Well worth the money and a good by at the above price if you want a 600Hz Plasma at this size for bargain money! HOT! :)

Plasma, yuck.

LOL! Spot the troll!

I got this TV last year and it's fantastic. I have a 47" Samsung LCD in the bedroom and this 50" plasma in the lounge. Picture quality is fantastic on both sets!

Well worth the money...so HOT!

Great set, grabbed myself one of these from Tesco when they had it on for £499 a few weeks back (although with the mothers staff dicount, make that £449.10).

It is quite reflective so you dont want it angled against any windows, or invest in a good black out blind .

Media player will play anything I've thrown at it, and the usb is on the side, which is perfect if your wall mounting.

We have a Panny plasma and the picture is great, especially HD. However, as others have said plasmas are not great for daytime viewing in a sunny room, so take that into account if your viewing is mainly Jeremy Kyle and Loose Women.

cant decide if i should get this or pay more for a panasonic!!!!
what to do?! ahhhh

mostly will be used for ps3....and occasional 1080 mkvs

Clear Voice - Yes (Clear Voice II) Is this worth having? I'm a bit deaf and I find the way the music and background noise intrudes into the dialog quite distracting. Is it worth choosing this over a better screen just for this feature?

Audio Output - 10W + 10W - Does this drive a pair of speakers or is it line output.

Does this have any SCART sockets, or so I need an adaptor.

Sorry about asking what are probably silly questions but my old TV is getting so old I feel like splashing out on something new.

As well as 2 HDMI sockets it does have 2 SCART sockets.
