Does anyone know how reflective the screen is on this TV? I have a Sony at the minute which is really reflective when the sun is shining and I'm always getting wrong from the missus for closing the curtains!

You can reclaim it from Amazon. Just give them a call or email them. They will resist at first but usually relent, especially if you haven't received delivery yet.

Seems like a lovely telly.

Home plugs use the electricity sockets in your house as a wired network. So Plug One is plugged into the mains and into your router and plug 2/3/4/5 etc can be plugged into any other mains socket in the house providing a wired internet connection anywhere you have an electricity socket.

I'm going to at least 50" next time I need a TV. We've had two 42" Pannasonics for 4 years now and they just seem so small, especially for blu's n gaming (one TV is used solely for 360). Can't bring myself to buy though, with both pannys working faultlessly.
#11
I have this TV and the screen is very reflective. So if it's facing a window it will probably be a problem for most people

This TV has the MOST reflective screen EVER, be warned ...

You could stream wirelessly but you need a LG branded USB Wireless dongle which is about £60.
I'd go with the 'Homeplug' option if possible.

Amazon have a 28 day policy where they'll refund the difference if it goes down in price.

Really? Send me the link. They used to have such a policy but dropped it. Now it's unofficial.

It's a decent screen but highly reflective, soe report uneven colour and IR is a problem but is 'supposed' to get better with use. It also has a few other quirks but has superb calibration options and is THX certified, if you're not putting it in a bright room (or one with a window facing the screen) then go have a look at them in store for a demo. It's certainly £150-200 cheaper than the panasonic S20 but after looking at both that's what I went with.

I bought this TV from RS for £650. I was really worried before purchase as i was after a premuim tv for a budget price, but now im really happy. High definition flims/ sports is amazing. Screen is very reflective. Many connection options, not tried gaming yet. If any one wants more info pm me

It's hardly controversial - the screen is extremely reflective, anyone who sees it notices this.

LG make great sets this year, but only the 990 has any anti-reflective coating at all. They're outstanding value for low light rooms, but I wouldn't buy one otherwise.
#26
Doesn't the LG PK790 also have the same anti-reflective coating?
#27
I have this set and i only notice reflection when the thing is off.
my entire sitting room is cream too, but the main bay window is at 90degrees to the TV and we mostly have the blinds closed.

When the TV is on, unless its showing pitch black, i cant see the problem.

Bought this TV last week and have just finished wall mounting it and setting it up. I've very impressed. Freeview HD looks very good and Blu-Rays are amazing. Great colours.
Yes it has a reflective screen but as my windows are at 90 degrees to the screen this is not a problem.
An excellent price for such a modern big screen plasma.
