I purchased one of these about a month ago and it's a brilliant TV.
Has fantastic reviews everywhere eg. http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/televisions/0,39030219,49305400,00.htm<- actually won their editors choice award.

These are currently on sale for £900 in Curry's, so a real bargain for sure.

Has a great picture, and loads of fantastic features such as being able to play DivX/MKV files off a USB flash stick, Freeview HD (so you can watch the world cup in high definition), 600Hz, THX etc. Read the specs and see for yourself!

Oh and if you have any questions just leave a comment and I'll try to reply.

Yea it supports Wi-fi but you'll need to buy an adapter I believe. I know for a fact it doesn't have wi-fi as standard. As for Freeview HD this it does have, and so if you live nearly anywhere in the country other than the south east you'll probably be able to receive BBC/ITV HD etc.

Ooh, i'd decided against getting a plasma but am tempted by this!!!

2 things are holding me back.
I've heard that the plasma's reflect the light and i've got a BIG windown in my front room (about 15ft wide) and am worried about the light (although the tv will be under the window).
Also, i guess it doesn't come with a guarantee.
Would it be possible to buy a 5 year guarantee from somewhere else?

Good price, cheapest I've seen elsewhere is £729 at Richer Sounds. Just wish i had £719.

Magough: I've had a look at this TV in currys and comet and one of the things i was concerned about was reflection. It was sat next to a Panny PS50S20 and there was no difference. TBH i could only notice minor reflection when really trying to look for it and that was in a bright salesroom. It all depends on placement in the room you're using it in, just dont put it directly opposite a window.

Also if you were insistant on a 5 yr warranty you'd be better getting Richer sounds to price match amazons price and taking out their 5 yr warranty for an extra £72 cos you'd be looking at approx £200 elsewhere for an extended warranty.

Cheers for that Steako, Rep'd :)
I noticed that Dixons have it for 20p more but could get 3.5% back thru quidco. Only trouble is i cant find anything about getting a 5 yr guarantee from them.

I'm sure that Amazon offer a 3rd part warranty through domestic and general(?)for a reasonable cost if you buy the TV through them, search on Amazon for Plasma warranty or similar.. the cost is relative to the purchase price as I recall?
This goes up to £500..... cant find abobe 500 but < 1000
