Great Price, 5 Year JL Warranty

The LG EG960V is the first of its kind. Boasting a 55” 4K OLED curved screen, the television delivers the highest resolution of picture quality with yet even more colour, vibrancy and accuracy. Accompanying the great picture are great sounds from Harman Kardon which delivers room filling sound for a highly refined and powerful audio experience. And what’s more, the content which can be streamed through this output encompasses the award-winning Smart webOS platform so you’ll always be kept up to speed with your favourite movies and football teams.
4K OLED
Fusing OLED technology with 4K resolution, LG OLED 4K TV brings you the finest viewing experience imaginable. OLED pixels are self-lighting which means that they can switch on and off individually. This allows for a beautiful contrast range of the brightest whites and the darkest blacks for unrivalled picture depth. Delivering 33 million pixels, the EG960V can provide an immersive viewing experience. And better still, LG’s 4 Colour Pixel adds a white sub-pixel to improve on the conventional 3 colours and enhance both colour range and accuracy. This delivers the most natural and true-to-life colour reproduction possible.
Smart TV webOS 2.0
Revolutionising the way you watch and experience entertainment on your LG OLED TV is the award-winning Smart TV webOS platform. Delivering a simple connection, simple switching and simple discovery, there is more content available than ever before. You can now even enjoy 4K streaming from the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as movies on demand (HD) via Sky movies or NOW TV – the only TV platform which can bring you premier football. You can also stream live sports via Sky Sports on NOW TV, access BBC Sport live and on demand. There’s access to music from Spotify, plus social networking from Facebook and Twitter.
4K 3D+
Become comfortably immersed in a 3D cinema experience with the passive 3D TV. Considered more comfortable to watch because of the reduction in flicker, passive 3D even takes into account a wider viewing angle and brighter images. With its quadrupled resolution from Full HD, the 3D images are more life-like than ever.
Premium design
The 55-inch subtle curved screen of the EG960V is a true piece of art. Providing a more cinematic viewing experience, the 5mm thick TV is unlike anything you have seen before. The intuitive design creates a floating screen effect which will look incredible when either secured to the living room wall using a suitable wall mount or positioned on a television stand. And it’s thanks to this ultra-slim screen, elegant design and stylish metallic finish, that the LG 4K OLED TV looks just as good on, as it does when off.
Premium sound
With sound designed by Harman Kardon, LG’s crisp multi-channel speaker system delivers room filling sound for a highly refined and powerful audio experience. Better still, you can even complete your viewing experience with ULTRA Surround. This multi-channel sound effect will create an immersive experience which will expose you to the most realistic audio yet from seven virtual channels.

Have a curved tv you hardly notice it but its meant to be more immersive wouldn't let it put you off.

Wouldn't touch anything from John Lewis with a barge pole, the customer service is very poor, it was amazing, good luck getting anything returned or replaced you've got more chance at Currys

Hasn't it got a kind of sweet spot so that viewing from the sides isn't too good?

it is not of any gimmick at all, it is elegant, beautiful and if watched from the right distance you get the real angled benefit. If you keep too much distance, then no benefit at all and no sure what about your comments about 3d, because in my opinion it is always been great. 3d dying because is been abused, 3d glasses all day are not good at all for the eye. 3d is good for a good 3d bluray from time to time. On the top of that, there are too many non native 3d films in the market which have spoiled the real purpose of the 3d also charging too much money. Wrong not to build any 3d tv anymore, the passive 3d on a 4k tv seems to be superior than the active one as now can display full 1080p (same as active) plus the benefit of better brightness and much comfortable cheaper and lighter glasses.

This can't beat a UE65JS9000 for £899 as a hot deal. Not in a million years. But it is OLED. I bought the cheaper telly and a Sonos with the change.
