Purchased this tv the other day in store from the Nottingham branch.

This is one of the cheapest entry level Super UHD HDR 4K televisions on the market at present. 10 bit panel and local dimming also. web OS 3, magic remote and it's an IPS panel for great viewing angles. Comes with a brushed steel bezel. There aren't many reviews yet as its not long been released.

now reduced further to £949

the picture on this TV is amazing compared to our old LG.

Can't understand the cold votes. If you can find this set cheaper with the same warranty and customer service I'd like to know where?!

It's not SUHD. That's a Samsung specific term.

so it's not a good deal because I've shortened the terminology.....

Is this better than the sony 55x8509? Is this also edge-lit?
#8
How is it with motion handling like football and cricket and fast scenes?

im not sure if the Sony has local dimming and it's definitely not super UHD. still a damn good tv for the money but for less that £200 more you can get this with better specs. I think the LG will come into its own once the reviews start coming in. Or so I hope ;)

Aw man, it does look like a good tv with true 10 bit HDR whereas the Sony I just purchased is HDR-lite. £200 more than the Sony but I look at TVs as 5 year investments so I wouldn't have minded spending the extra if getting more bang for my buck.

Why is this going cold?
I need a 4K, HDR, 10bit panel, smart tv

i originally thought it was an 8 bit panel but was pulled up on it earlier. just been on LG's website and found this http://imageshack.com/a/img921/5224/jXIOjF.png

which does state that it's a 10 bit panel as far as I'm aware.

Edited By: mattu on Aug 26, 2016 06:03: still not right

And now I've just noticed that I've put the wrong code in! I'll update it. It's definitely the UH not UF. oO thanks
