I bought one of these about 8 months ago for 1400-. Mind you, I thought that was a bargain as they were 2000-! Very happy with it, BTW

Cheers

Most of the free screens you get with projectors aren't worth the material they are made from to be honest. I have a fixed beamax screen in my cinema room and it was the best upgrade I ever made.

I bought a Panoview 92 inch GrayWolf II Screen

It's great, although my ceiling is a little too high for it. Great screen for a great price

I wish I could afford this, or maybe that it had been around before xmas. Oh well, very nice find :)

Is there are "premium" for being wall mountable? i.e. could I get same quality/specs for less as a typical ceiling mount?

From what I can gather there doesn't seem to be any drawbacks related to it being wall mountable. If good quality optics are used it shouldn't make a difference I would have thought.

I've got a magnola wall for my little infocus x1. Makes a nice cheap £10 screen. Some people use the ikea pull down black out blinds as they are just the right colour etc .

Thanks Orbital - I meant more as would I be paying more for this than a ceiling mounted one with the same specs just b/c it's wall mounted? I'm not really serious about buying but thinking about upgrading my old projector and trying to get a grasp on the market again!

No premium really at all. I'd say the Optoma HD70 is in the same ballpark figure as this. That too is a HD DLP projecor but the screen offset on that projector is a bit of a mare (I have an Optoma H57 so I know what a pain these screen offsets can be). The thought of being able to hang it on the wall and overcome some of these shortcomings is a pretty cool. Especially if your trying to fit it into a lounge setup.
