Just received mine the other day and it was DOA. It's getting returned and refunded.

Great reviews though, so as long as everybody else's works fine, this is hot.

I was waiting for sub £100 too but was tempted by its functionality and have just bought.

Gotta stop doing this!:-D

With this one DON'T put the ethernet cable in back before you do the region hack by the disk or the region hack will not work

I had bought this from Dixons for 149.99 in last week. Wondering whether to call them and ask them to refund the difference or return the existing one and get this one ..:whistling:...

Thanks!

Yes, however on one of the reviews a strange complaint that this blu-ray would not play BBC dvds!!

Btw 3% top cash back, going before I buy this!
#20
Are there any other Blu ray players that can compete with this in terms of price?

Also anyone know what the divx playbacks are like, what formats?
#21
Got this one myself, and works a treat!
Its multi region for standard DVDs, but region locked for BD

Cold,

you can get the Sony S350 for the same price if you look around, why would you get an LG?

Why would you buy the inferior Sony model?:?

Just 'cos it's got the name Sony on its plastic frontage?:?

You are an idiot sir, but I defend your right to be an idiot:p

Guyz, I have connected my LG BD370 to my Samsung 5.1 Home Cinema System using an optical cable. The quality of sound I am getting is not consistent even when playing the same media file. Should I try to change the optical cable and check? Any advice on this?
I know its not the player but mostly a loose connection at one of the ends of the optical cable.

As long as its within 7 days that you notify them you wish to return the item, under the 7 day long distance selling act you can. The item should be in as new condition, as should all items received with said item.

HTH.

Before you start calling ppl names,So how is this a better quality player for bluray than the Sony?

I almost bought one of these from Currys the other day for £149.99.

Glad I waited now.

Even if it's not it's irrelevant with regards to the deal. The one that you quoted was £141. How is that the same as £129.99? You can't vote things cold because there might be better products that are more expensive, that's just stupid.

have you checked any reviews? This player is easily as good as the Sony in terms of playback quality, is quicker loading, offers more features, and is cheaper...

So how is the S350 better?

So how is it not according to you ?

People automatically jump on the big name bandwagon with Sony this , Sony that , whenever a rival player turns up .

By the way , I've had 2 Sony 350 machines , both went faulty within a week of ownership . Got this model a while back & it is superb , better built , looks better , more functionality .

That's how I can call names :p

Oh , no need to vote it cold either , red hot , voting is all about the deal NOT what else is available .

Soo tempted but wish blu ray would drop below £100 ,and this one is getting close.

If you want more info have a look at reviews which are really good

Totally Agree, I think the £100 mark is the time I'll take the plunge. I have Blu Ray on my HTPC but my GTX260 can be a bit noisy at times.

Soooooo weak!!!!!

I liked the reviews and it is a good looking machine.

Ordered + Rep + Heat.

Good find, £20 - £60 cheaper than a lot of places.

Yes it appears so form thier web site. All others in the group Currys, PC World are selling for £20 more, so i would presume it will go back up after Monday
