The LG BD370 Blu-ray Disc Player is more than just a Blu-ray player; it has a range of great connections designed to bring your media to life. It supports MP3, MPEG4, video JPEG and WMA file formats, which you can play via the USB port. Share your photos, home videos, music tracks and more with family and friends.
The LG BD370 has a 1080p picture resolution for detailed and vivid picture quality. Connect it up to your HDTV and play Blu-Ray movies for a movie experience of the purest clarity. Images will be stunningly true-to-life. You also have the choice of watching standard DVDs in near High Definition thanks to the in-built DVD upscaler. Your films will be brought to life in crystal clear audio via Dolby True HD and DTS-HD audio technology.
Another brilliant feature of the LG BD370 Blu-ray Disc Player is the fact you can access YouTube videos on demand. Connect up to the internet via the Ethernet connection. The BD Live (BD-ROM Profile 2.0) feature also means you can access additional blu-ray content via the internet. This can be anything from live chat forums to exciting multiplayer games.

gr8 deal have some H&R :)

edit : just spotted "Ethernet port for Internet connection", not something i've thought about before having a PS3 with wifi, but will/do all standalone blu-ray players only give 'BD Live' via ethernet ?

TIA...

I just picked mine up from the Gateshead team valley store, they only had one left and it was the display model. When I protested they knocked off another £5.

A tip if your lucky enough to get one, do the region unlock before you plug in the ethernet and run the update, as this stops the region hack working. I had to back track to an older version of firmware to get mine working.

very happy with it, just tested it with blade runner...cheers op

for anyone looking for one in north west, as of this afternoon, Warrington PC World had a display model without remote but wouldn't further discount, and both Chester PC World and Currys had display models but as they were actually plugged in and playing (as opposed to just static on a shelf), I personally passed on them, 'cause they might have been playing 10 hours a day for who knows how long... but obviously you still get the warranty, so maybe worth it for someone still looking for one.

would any of the high street shops do a price match on this?
