Makro have the LG BD550 blu-ray player on sale for £39.99+VAT (total £47.99) from 11th May until 17th May. This player attracted a lot of heat three weeks ago when Amazon were doing it for £69.99.

This gets reasonable reviews such as 'Quick load times, excellent Blu-ray image quality, and a generous suite of streaming services make the LG BD550 a solid entry-level Blu-ray player.'

If you have A Macro card or know someone who does, then well worth a visit.

Just got the player today, Tesco have it for 85 odd.

But got the player home, not opened it yet but says bd-live nothing listed about netcast as listed on the flyer.

Any help on what the bd-live is?

BD-Live means you can access movie extras available on the blu-ray through you internet connection.

Could anyone with a makro online account do a stock check for the Poole branch please?
