brought this last month after seeing deal here, turns out the stuff it had advertised didnt even come on the bluray, things like netcast and utube, rang up an told them they need change description as false advertising, they gave me refund and £40 credit on top, this is still good machine for the money, very fast loading compaired to any priced machine on market,so worth the price,i just got the bd560 and both are useful if u have LG tv also and simplink saves on control for both, just remember u need memory for BDlive.

This has been as low as £59.99 - I bought it from Dixons a few ,months back at £69.99 and it's well worth the price.

I have a 640gb Samsung S2 hanging from it - makes quite a good media player.
It'll play Divx, vob, h264 mkvs - it can't handle ogg vorbis and there are some formats of .mkvs it won't handle. It will play all my .avi and maybe 8/10 .mkvs

I went through the same with Dixons; they'd advertised all the Net features - they did correct the offer details when I complained; didn't give me any £40 credit though!
(I kept it as I have iPlayer DLNA etc. on my TV and just wanted the Blu-Ray and media player features).
Apparently in the US this is net enabled; in the UK all we get is BD live and firmware updates...

I don't have this particular model (I have the LG BD390) but I have no issue with using both FAT32 and NTFS. I'm not what you mean by your second question, but I've played an 8Gb 1080p MKV with no issues at all. In fact, I was startled at how good it was.
