The price of this appears to have increased?

A better deal on the SamsungSH-B123L/RSBP 12x BD-ROM DVD±RW DL & RAM Lightscribe SATAII Optical Drive - Retail Box Black at £49.99:

I think (don't know for certain) that model isn't a Blu-Ray burner nt1311.
the samsung doesn't write blurays whereas the OP does
This is a great price but I'm promised myself I would wait til these went down to less than a nifty.
Gread price. Hot
anyone recommend a decent suppiler of discs if i bought this drive?

the 12X LG is out soon btw thats why the prices of the 10x LG's is going low.
Be careful buying any old media. Believe me its worth spending a couple of extra pounds on a spindle of 25GB discs. When in a years time your data is still safe on them.
Already out ... its got the 35 in the end of the model (as opposed to 30 on this one).

All gone.

I have 2 BDREs new sealed from a carboot months ago (£2.50 X)) and dying to burn some Blu-ray and this price would have been good.

New models out so I'll have to wait a bit more.

Right, speak of the devil! Amazon's just dropped their LG BH10LS30.AUAR10B retail kit version to £69.99 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0035FF066/

Deal done!
Marketplace seller... should never have even been posted, let alone voted hot.
Spammed, as well as expired as it's not ever there now.
Prices are getting more like it so I'll give this heat but still have a little way to go @ £70 or so for me.

What's the feeling on software right now?
As far as I can make out it's as problematic as anything?
What you get in the retail box http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stZl7OmwCg8

Software? Playback and burning is fine. Obviously if you're going to do a lot of BD playback you'd need an ethernet connection for the odd update.

I went for this because it's not often you get retail versions cheap (there's 2 bare/OEM versions: 1 with nothing save for the drivce and 1 with software) and I like boxes :p

As posted elsewhere mind this drive can be made region free http://club.myce.com/f91/mediacodespeededit-support-lg-dvd-writers-133858/

Free burning software too: http://www.imgburn.com/

This is worth posting as a deal if someone has the time.
