Thanks to edi for the 6230i deal, but I feel this deal is even better, for such a nice phone!!

CPW Have the KG800 Chocolate for £49.99 On Vodafone - Add £10 quidco makes it £59.99, nad then £5 quidco, making this a sweet £54.99!!

"The LG KG800 mobile phone is better known to many people as the Chocolate phone. Don't bother looking for any hidden meaning - quite simply, it's bar-shaped and the best-selling version in South Korea is a dark brown chocolate colour!"

Sorry... The above should read "Add £10 credit makes it £59.95, and then £5 quidco, making this a sweet £54.95!!"

These are easy to unlock too, £5 down your local independent shop or £10+ from places where you post it away and get it back.

Nice phone for the price.

Voted Hot!

Got one for myself to use for my work phone - is the credit just like the normal PAYG, i.e. can I just pass on to the missus to use?

Do Vodaphone always lock their handsets?

Thanks for this. My sister has been on the lookout for a pink phone.

So does that mean an Orange sim card should work in this phone straight from the box?

Since when?

Are we talking about PAYG or Contracts or both?

Does the same apply to their online counterparts (e2save, etc...) for contract too?
#13
Very Interesting, On the day CPW sends a newsletter to all affiliates about special PAYG phones which pay affiliates £10 a pop. Three such CPW deals make the front page. Not hot at all guys.

I'm not quite sure what your point is...

You can get this £10 yourself by purchasing via QuidCo.com. None of the posters of these deals had anything to gain by submitting them as personal affiliate links aren't allowed here.

...and that's not to mention that this is a brilliant price for the phone. It's been £100 up until very recently.

My point is usually the payout for PAYG deals is a fiver, and on the same day CPW sends it's newsletter and doubles commission on THESE SPECIFIC phones. All make the front page. You know as well as I do, most users would not give a toss about quidco and just go through the checkout... I think mods and people who are on the payroll need to check their voting powers at the entrance.

What do you mean in regards to voting powers?
#18
do mods have the same voting power as a standard user ?

Come on now, surely you don't mean the mods are on the payroll do you !?!

Anyway it's getting late and we're all tired so lets go to bed :friends:

It's worked out on exactly the same basis. Naturally our power is the maximum limit because we spend all of our time on here posting deals (sad geeks you see) but many members also have the same power without as much work, because of the cap on the vote you see. :)

And by the way, us "mods" are all very friendly and genuine people.

We also encourage you to use QuidCo.com whenever you make a purchase to ensure you can save as much as possible. :) Happy savings!!

On the Quidco site it says the £10 is for the prepay Nokia phones, not the LG Chocolate or am I reading the wrong thing? If it is this one, it works out a very good deal.

Voted HOT anyway!!!

Thinking of buying this.I have a payg motorola v620 and hardly use £10 a month, but am not sure whether to go for a good deal like this and carry on as I am (£10monthly) or go for one of those U600 deals where you get all your money back through cashback and get a better phone

Is the Samsung U600 that much better than LG chocolate?
#27
Looks like all these Clearance VODA PAYG phone have increased by at least £10 since yesterday. Cheeky!
#28

The airtime credit will be applied to your account automatically on the 8th day after purchase. This is to comply with distance selling regulations.

Please allow 8 days for credit to show on your account, if after you have not received the credit then please contact our dedicated internet sales team on 0808 100 9250.

I ordered Monday and they have "Next day Deliver by Special Delivery" plastered all over their site yet I have yet to have mine delivered.

Whats going on like
#33
I know this has been pointed out before but these are clearance items.
In Carphone speak that means the handset will be a 14 day return or reconditioned, usually not with the original box. Just thought I'd mention that since you can get them at about the same price on other sites brand new.
