Forgot to mention if you live near a Tesco store that does collection then you can get it for £51 with the £9 off voucher, I dont so chose the delivery option which for next day is great plus I get SIM card- saves on petrol anyway!
#3
How can it not have a timer???
#4
Probably means there is no manual timer knob, it is digital.

Ill found out tomorrow anyway and report back!
#5
Just found manual on line, definitely has timer function so not a worry

what kind of body does it have ? inside outside ?
think not stainless steel ? but the thermoplastic i think ?

can anybody update the thread when you buy one ?
#7

Arrived today after ordering yesterday. Metal body inside and out. Does what it says on the can, looks very nice and would recommend for the price as it includes grill also.

Am I just behind the times - or do people have black kitchens?!?!?
#9
black is the new white! Actually my kitchedn ist black but it truly doesnt look out of place, unlike white which would look awful
#10
yes got mine too for 51 quids with grill and touch panel I love it :) excellent deal

Does this have 1080p? Looks too thick (i.e. deep) for my TV stand.

:whistling:
#12
The discount code - £9 off £60 spend is unlikely to be knocked off the price if you order this today as the voucher expired yesterday.
It is likely that the £9 will be deducted when you place the order and will be shown as invalid when the order is received ..... treat it as a bonus if you do get it but please dont rely on it as it is not an integral part of this deal , perhaps the op can ammend ?

Quidco is like a cashback referral system. Different retailers pay different amounts for purchases you make. Typically it takes three months for them to make the payout. Essentially you log into your Quidco account then visit the retailer through the site so it tracks your purchase.

You can sign up here:
http://www.quidco.com/

Bear in mind there is a £5 admin charge for the year, so you will have to earn this amount before you start getting cashback. If you make a lot of online purchases it isn't too difficult :)

Hey thanks for the info. Will sign up to it today.

You learn something everyday ;-)

Quidco's fine if you don't mind using your browser butt naked & allowing every nasty under the sun, including unknown javascript redirects, especially using firefox,as many links to retailers from the quidco site simply won't work otherwise.

I use quidco,so I'm not actually 'having a go' at it,but always clear the browser cache immediately after logging out, especially before using any other secure login sites where my cash or identity could be at risk.

I inherited a Toshiba 1350W microwave which my parents had paid approx £400 in 1993, I thought its still going strong, what I like about it is that its massive inside compared to the small ones widely available.

Anyhow my wife thinks that one minute takes longer to complete than 60 seconds although I havent timed it, she also believes that she has to put things in longer to get hotter compred to my sisters cheap tat Hinari which apparently warms a baby bottle of milk up in half the time that my microwave does.

Is mine old and wearing down and consuming more elec being 1350W? should I get rid and buy this Combi LG which looks like a good deal. Or is there anything Branded of the same equivalence cheaper out there.
Personally I was going to put some primer on the worn out brown metal casing, spray in mettalic grey so make it look like the part but will me efforts be worthless.

There is a new model due out in the next 8 weeks that will include a massively improved 30,000:1 ready-meal contrast ratio

Fair comment,as I've not been a member very long, and haven't tried all of 'em,but I've found Tesco to be a particularly tough one to use via Quidco,as it always seems determined to go there via tradedoubler, which is a redirect, plain & simple,no matter what form of semantic spin one cares to put on it,whereas I can log into the Tesco site without quidco with no problem at all.

Anyway, this is waaaaay off topic, which was my fault in the first place...sorry folks

Mine is exactly the same. Mine is 11 years old (philips from memory but could be Sanyo) and my goodness, it takes forever to heat stuff up and if you want to put something in after, forget it. It takes over a minute just to take the chill of a bottle of milk from the fridge, let alone warm it.

I need a new one and we had an LG in our cottage in Cornwall and it was fab, although I think it a bit more high-tech than this one mentioned. However, I'm now of the opinion anything will be better so I may go for it although unsure whether better to go for the LG pointed out at Empire Direct?

im tempted to get this one, incidentally I posted it on hotukdeals just now, I lik ethe fact that it has 32 litre capacity and is an extra 200 watt more in power than this one and so is the grill more powerfull and its been redcued by 50% and not 12%

thats how quidco works!
the link goes to tradedoubler to set the referral cookies so that you can get your cashback!

Thanks for clearing that one up for me jonathan.

I was a tad confused 'cos I don't see every Quidco associated site doing that,or not according to the address bar anyway, and most of the links on the Quidco site take me straight to the merchant without a hiccup....but I can live with it,and will now specifically allow access to the tradedoubler domain via Noscript,AB+,etc.
