By using reconditioned/clearance stock, we are able to offer you even further savings! These items are either ex-demonstration, trial or mail order returned. These are not flawed products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks. For your peace of mind, each and every handset has been quality inspected by our engineers & reconditioned if necessary. Each handset also comes with a full years manufacturers warranty. Please note that reconditioned handsets are usually repackaged once tested and do not come in the original branded box. These products are only packaged with a charger, other accessories and memory cards are not guaranteed.

guess these may be running the 10b f/w that locks up & resets according to some reviews
my daughter has had one for a week & it is running 10c f/w and all seems OK
probably a simplish upgrade to do, but more concerned with "not flawed products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks" and "do not come in the original branded box. These products are only packaged with a charger, other accessories and memory cards are not guaranteed."

just to add, seem a decent phone for the price point, touch screen works well, 3 MP camera not that good however, no AF & no light

Take a look at post #10. Hope that helps.

Picked myself up a cookie from CPW a week ago, must say it's the best value for money phone I've ever bought.

The GUI is very easy to use, touch screen is very responsive to both fingers and the stylus, camera is better than some supposed 5mp cameras on phones I've seen, downloaded games are pretty good. Stuck an 8gb card in mine do also makes a decent MP3 player.
Just generally a pleasure to use, and a steal at this price.

Free delivery on the black but £5.99 delivery charge on the pink....is that because they know girlies would be willing to pay for that charge just for the pink?

I was thinking of buying a touch-screen phone since my friend loves her Samsung Tocco and I definitely need to upgrade my rubbish Samsung phone

Can anyone say that this phone is simple and easy to use because I'm use to Samsung easy functions :p

If you're a 'texter', don't bother.. I found it very time consuming. However, as mentioned.. a brilliant phone for the money.

is it possible to use a O2 SIM with unlimited web bolt on with this phone- being a 2G. not a heavy browser, but like to check the mails when on the move

thanks in advance for any replies

How can I find out what mine is running, I've had it about a month and had no probs, but just wondered. Thanks :)

Its very simple to use. The touch screen is brilliant, expecially when scrolling pics and msgs, just slide your finger across, unlike my sisters samsung, she has to fiddle about with bar scrolling. I find the actions on this phone much easier to do. Also with texting, I find it just the same as normal phone(easier with my finger than stylus), same screen comes up and if you tip the phone sideways you get a qwerty keyboard too. (I didnt know this till I read gadget show review:oops:)
Anyway brilliant phone.

 Thanks, seems Ive got v10c, so take it thats good, and why I've had no probs! :)

I think most problems were with v10b, hence the newer 10c; although there is also a v10d out there, but not available in uk at the moment (according to a few sites I read)

Are these mobiles KP501 or KP500?
#22
What are the chances of these being unlocked?
#23
In regards to firmware, 10b is the most glitchy firmware, 10c is a little better but still can occasionally suffer restarts and resets.

Their is now updates available for the UK and I can confirm that most if not all the bugs have been sorted.

You can't update using Windows Vista though as the flash driver is incompatible. Pretty straight forward to update via Windows Xp though.

Good website here in regards to updating, unlocking and general Cookie discussions etc...

Great deal

I don't know if it's of any use but Tesco Direct have them for £82.48, it's on Tesco Mobile but it can't be that hard unlock it (?). I know it's not cheaper but it's brand new retail boxed (rather than open box\brown box), and most people have a store to collect from a reasonable enough distance away.

I got mine this morning and it's KP500.

I got it on O2 and it seems to be unlocked. Have tried Tesco & T-mobile sims and both are working on it.

Phone was in excellent condition, only one small mark on screen.

Also texting is easier for me when I put it on 'handwriting mode'.
