My current one is 800x600, its perfectly fine for me....although I don't have any HD sources, watching DVD's on that resolution is fine.

Definite bargain, although out of stock. I might have to see what else can be had with that discount code...

I would recommend investing extra and getting an Optoma HD65, jaw dropping high def piece of kit for the price.

I have the Optoma HD65 and it is great. Noticed quite a bit of rainbowing for the first 20 hours or so - dont really see it at all now. But it is quite a bit more expensive, I think I paid just over £500 about 6 months ago.

A full 1080p projector will cost you about £2000+

About £1000 from a few places, I have seen them slightly under before.

Varies from projector to projector, for example the bulbs for the HD65 are about £70 if I remember rightly, yet the cheaper projectors (£300ish) I was looking at at the time, replacement bulbs did cost about the same again.
