Guys,

Just spotted what seems to be a cracking price for an LG Flatron W2600HP monitor. It's a 26" S-IPS 1920x1200 widescreen monster and its current listed for £300 (£312 inc del but you can collect) at Overclockers. It is a pre-order but stock is expected today so hopefully it will arrive soon if ordered.

These typically cost more that £500 so seems like a cracking deal to me.

Highly detailed review can be found here. Note this review is based on a 580Eur price.

Go easy as this is my first deal!

Looks good to me as Amazon have this @ £328.61

Do I buy this or a 26" to use as a monitor?

Fantastic monitor at a bargain price. A shame it's coming from OcUK though. Horrible company to deal with when things go wrong.

This is actually the W2600HP which is an S-IPS panel whereas the Amazon one you mentioned is the W2600H which is a TN panel, so this is much more of a bargain. Amazon list the W2600HP for £500:

Hopefully your monitor has a defreeze option otherwise your viewing angles will suffer somewhat. :)

Nice monitor for graphics work.

A guy over at AVForums just called up to confirm the details for this monitor and Overclockers have confirmed it is the S-IPS version (W2600HP-BF) rather than the TN panel (W2600H-PF) and that it is revision 2 and not revision 1

Why are people voting this so cold, are oc-uk THAT bad?

not that bad in my experience. I once had to return a TV card and it took a couple of weeks to get turned around but other than being slow, no major issues. Voters seem happy enough not make other OCUK deals warm today (ie http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/464103/dell-2209wa-22-ips-monitor-189-99-d/) so I think people just dont understand the difference between TN & IPS and therefore dont understand what a bargain this is.
