Is that a 4G plan? guessing not at that price. Good deal though, looking at one of these.

Yes its 4g. I got one and it connects to 4g

Surely this has to be the bargain of the year? Not enough data for me, in my experience you tend to use more 4g data than than the previous 3g.

great price, worth a look in store at lunchtime
#12
good deal but I wouldn't worry about 4g. if you used it fully at Max speed you would run out in about 83 seconds. but you probably won't get 4g anyway.
#13
wow incredible price, will check if there's any available.
#14
Surely thats not right.

Got to be a misprice as if you read the bottom it says £299 PAYG...

Maybe someone got it confused with the G3

I'm thinking of ordering this model made for the Japanese market but works on our frequencies. Waterproof with expandable microSD and IR blaster for controlling TV. It's still an LG G2, anyone got any sensible comments or suggestions?

+1 enlighten us..

You can turn 4g off by a widget I'm pretty sure. So could be a good deal if you are a light user and want a good phone.

F^$k OFF EE.

Surely its just a case of waiting for them to get some stock for delivery? You could always point it out and ask them to reserve one/move on to a local store for you?

On the other hand, I totally agree with your sentiment about EE (but for other reasons)

Great price OP, if I wasn't stuck in a mediocre 24 month contract I'd have jumped at the £18.99 with 1gb data (funny how 3 months ago EE couldn't offer an old customer anything near as good as this for retentions.)

4g only works faster. 500mb is 500mb. If you want to only watch one video it doesn't take more data. Ee data is capped so no high bill.

As someone that works around EE we had no idea this was coming.

Do EE have unlimited Internet add ons like Three?

Looking on the EE website, they claim 60Mbps, so that's 7.5MBps. 500 / 7.5 = just under 67 seconds saturating that speed. And a lot of streaming services will dynamically adapt to network conditions (i.e. genuinely will use more bandwidth for the same length of video/audio, albeit you'll have a decent quality for that minute or so...)

This is NOT an LG branded phone. This is a cheap knock off. I've made this mistake with a tablet in the post and the build quality is shocking.. I wouldn't risk that.

500mb and 4g does not compute
#33
Wonder what's going on with EE - they don't have the LG G2 listed online for sale and rumoured not be be stocking the G3. Maybe these instore deals are to clear LG stock??

I'm guessing it will be locked. There seems to be unlock codes for a quid on eBay, which worked well for my Moto G so hopefully would do for this as well.

got mine from Brighton. Sales guy nearly fell over when I asked for one for £13.99 a month:)
#36
24 months contract with 4g at that price? Crikey. Only about £50 more than a SIM free LG G2 itself!
#37
Tempted!
#38
Can you get extra data when you are under contract and how much would it cost for an extra gig?

Yes, it is a LG phone. It's the G2 variant for AU by KDDI.

Just jumped all over this! Cheers OP. Phoned my local EE store and they only had the one left.

I have been looking at a new phone for a while as my SGS2 battery is on it's last legs, was toying between this, Nexus 5, G3, OnePlus one and waiting to see what Google announce at I/O next week, but for this price in my opinion it's a no brainer.

I wonder how long I can put up with the LG skin / bloat before I root and flash CM11...
