The G3 might be out but this is still a cracking handset. tech radar voted it the 5th best Android Phone you can get only last month.

Don't think it's ever been on here at this price before.

Anyone going to buy this make sure you select other sellers and drop down to Amazon and not a seller fulfilled by Amazon for best CS after you get it.

I'm trying to decide if 16GB will be enough memory for me, I don't play games or load lots of music onto my phones. :-/ The other 32GB deals posted, seem to fall short with the warranty.

I concur, 16gb is a bit tight for a flagship even if it is last year.
#4
16gb for a smartphone on android and with a good camera is simply not enough... In my opinion....
#5
The mini version is available for £205 at expansys
#6
I bought the 32gb Korean version of this which has sd card slot etc too, love the phone but can't get the Korean bloat off it... :-(
#7
I have this phone and it is very very good!
Better than any iPhone on the market.

I bought one with the EE deal last month and you get 50GB of Box cloud storage if that helps. Fantastic handset - 3 days out of battery on medium usage.

Can anyone recommend a good slim case and glass screen protector please? There's a lot of choices.
#10
It can be had for £20 a month on three which over two years is obviously cheaper than handset only and you'll get an allowance

Is a very different phone. Not saying that's a bad price but not really in the same market.

I have an N5 16GB but I don't keep much music on it or shoot much Video so it's fine. I can understand why it would concern some though.

This is definitely the one to get off you want battery life much better than the G3 with its QHD screen or anything else to be honest. If it gets Android "L" with its efficiency improvements it will be amazing!

Personally I am still with 8gb phone, use cloud storage, have an external drive to store old stuff, never had any issues with storage.
#16
Would recommend Nexus 5 since it will be getting Android L improves battery and performance a lot.
Don't think g2 will get it
Waiting for Nexus 6 :p

16GB can be a struggle but with sites you can upload your vids/pics its not really a problem.

Can I ask where did you get the korean version and how much?

Thanks....

I heard that the LG G2 will get Android London later this year.

I have the 16gb and found OK but also have an mp3 player so don't need to load too much on the phone

It has USB OTG so you can get a drive which is useful for movies for a trip

I'm pretty sure that was stock clearance price, I went to their shops and asked but (even a few weeks ago) they had totally sold out.

Sorry to be pedantic but you mean Android L or Lollipop, aka v5?

Either way this is a damn good phone which matches what the latest flagships can do minus some gimmicks like fingerprint readers.

It doesn't really match the current crop on paper/benchmarks but Android phones have reached the point now where for most everyday tasks a budget phone like the Moto G is almost as good as a flagship so one like the G2 would be good for years for all but the most hard core users. And it still has the best battery life of pretty much any android :o)

Aye, even the latest phones with Snapdragon 801 are just a bit better; without an actual program to run which will use that power it is kind of just completely wasted. I am glad that the next Android version focuses on battery life which my ageing but still capable N4 is woefully lacking.

The 32GB Version of the LG G2 is available from a reputable seller on eBay for £249 on Buy it Now and free delivery.

The sellers are UK based, have 50 available and have 100% reputation.

Even though the picture shows a white version, they are only offering it in Black. Click on the description to get full details.

(I am not recommending this as not purchased it, but just making people aware of the deal.)

Thanks for the info. That must be the Asian version, with it having an SD slot?

And LG UK will not honour warranty as confirmed in the other G2 threads

It'll be enough for you. For music there is always google play music. Be more than enough for apps and photos unless you really love taking pictures.

bought one last week from Amazon. the OS etc stuffs took around 3G of space, and still a lot of rooms for apps, pics and videos. took a video in the house during an evening and the videos was amazingly good and clear! then played on a big screen, it is really a HD video. took another video with my N4 in the same condition, it's so blurry.

I've had a G2 for a few months now on EE. Cracking phone, battery life is very good. Takes great pics and video. Easily recommend it. Mine is the 16gb one. Plenty room for me.
#33
this was an option for me some time back and its a good phone but the lack of SD slot put me off, there really is no excuse for not having one...............unless your google of course.
#34
Or apple

Had a Nexus 5 for a while and now have one of these, the battery on this is amazing after the Nexus.

Yeh it has no SD slot but I use Google Play Music or Amazon Music and stream most things, Its goes for a full day with battery power left.

Overnight it uses just a couple of % even with 3g connected for email etc

If you can live without the sd slot then this is a brilliant phone for the price.

Had a couple of these cases on various phones and would thoroughly recommend. Nice and slimline..

I bought this tempered glass from ebay which is pretty good but be very careful when applying as any dust will stop it from sticking.
I'd recommend a fan nearby when applying.

Also got the standard Black S line gel case

I don't think any phone beats this phone to be honest.the camera is fantastic and very fast.the screen is large but they body is compact.the battery life is the best of any phone I have had even the note 3 and Sony z2.the inards are as powerful as you need.the new g3 has worse battery life.and has more lag from what I've read due to the screen taking up a lot more power.only fault on this phone is limited storage but I'm not a horder so it doesn't bother me I have 10gig spare and have hundreds of photos and plenty of apps and music downloaded.I paid 170 for my g2 in good condition sold my note 3 for 250 as it was scratched and sold my z2 for 350 as its a brick that didn't impress.kept locking up and overheating and battery wasn't anything to write home about and waterproof flap kept coming loose and auto setting on camera was 8mega pixel Max which was dissapointing
