For not much more you can get a full fat G2. Unless this is cheaper I don't think it's worth the £204 price tag. Infact no mini version should be.

The whole reason people got for the mini version of current handsets is the smaller size though...many people find 5"+ screened phones too large...

I understand that but Mini versions should be less that this.

I would like to see a mini version that's not cut down on specs.

The mini versions aren't meant as moto g rivals you know :p

I'd just get a standard G2 personally
if you look at the specs, because of the design of the G2 it's actual dimensions are almost exactly the same as the Nexus 4, which is large, but not huge.
I can use my N4 one handed no problem, and it disappears into regular jeans pocket

hate these rip-off 'mini's', with their cut down specs and trading on their big brothers to justify their stupid high prices

Sony Xperia z1 compact is the only mini with excellent specs better than a lot of full scale models.

8gb of memory is definitely not enough .

Its not a great phone by any means, but this is just about the right price point for it. Like EVERYONE else I would plump for the full fat G2 for a wee scoop of pennies more, but if you specifically want this phone this is a very sensible price.

It depends on the user - I personally find that 8GB is adequate, but others don't

considering the overall spec and LG's fairly average standing in the phone market I think over £200 for this is expensive. The screen is not even close to 720p, and the processor is exactly the same as in the Moto G but with LG's added bloat. Another big annoyance is that there is no brightness sensor in this phone, so if you go into bright sun you have to manually adjust the brightness if it isnt already at full brightness. The only advantage this has over the Moto (and other cheaper options) is that it will have a fairly decent camera. If you're after a smaller phone running Android and camera IS important though I'd splash a bit more out and get an Xperia Z1 Compact as the camera on this G2 Mini certainly won't blow your socks off enough to make up for the low screen res and lack of auto brightness.

Well done for copying the 'answer' from like 2 1/2hrs before yours :p
Either that or you're one of the 'I can't be bothered to read the replies already posted' brigade, it's not like there have been pages of replies between mario2001s post and yours.
