Been looking out for one at a decent price, only marginally more than the g2 mini. Cracking deal and easily unlocked.

INSTORE Only - I got the only one in Maidenhead, although the store manager said she was expecting stock today.

THIS WEEKEND ONLY - bizarrely Vodafone believe Weekends start on a Thursday, so it's on today

Err.... Its no wild goose chase - I bought one from Vodafone store in Maidenhead about an hour ago and I was told it's a national deal in store only.

This aint no Tesco's waste of time deal that can never be found.

Receipt?

Yes thanks - I have 2 actually, as they were having system issues, one for the PAYG SIM with £10 credit and one for the phone itself. Thanks for asking

Great, would you care to post it?
No

16gb or 32gb version?

No retailer sells the 32GB in the UK as it isn't a UK model.

Might have a look for this later, bugs me that there is no micro SD slot though :-(

still one of the best phones on the market, better than the G3 in many ways

Been wanting one of these for ages, but can't afford the £279 on Amazon, At this price i would not even think twice, pity there are no numbers to phone them direct and check stock.

I think this is the same phone as Nexus 5?
Similar, but better in many aspects, better camera, bigger screen, much better battery.

True, except that the nexus 5 runs pure android & doesn't have the 'breathing/pulse' issue when video recording.

That is true, but for me the longer battery life appeals to me more, also went into a store and compared both, I do love the Nexus 5 as well, but I liked the feel of the Lg G2 more. At the end it is down to price though.

I do believe some review updates claim that the glitch/bug for video recording has been fixed.

At any rate, this phone at sub £200 is an absolute steal.

Wtf amazing price. My missus needs a new phone since our 2 year old tested out her Xperia SP out in the bath. This could very well be the one to get. Good post OP.

Theres no way I'm driving from town to town trying to source one why can't you just ring up and ask then pick up is beyond me
#26
Has anyone confirmed this? Sounds too good to be true

I'm sick and tired of my Nexus 4 not lasting a days work on battery (not a mobile gamer). I was looking and waiting for the Nexus 5 to drop in price but with the bigger battery and the overall slightly better spec, this wins for me. I don't video record (hardly ever).

from what i've read you have to root the phone to fix breathing issue but it can affect picture quality. if video recording isn't a deal breaker then it's a good deal imo

Then i'd highly recommend it. i'm trying to hold out for the moto x+1, moto g2 which should be released next month but this deal is tempting.
