16GB model also comes with the free watch for £415. Making it a great deal for those too!

My first deal, this looks like a steal considering its the 32gb model which is hard to find in the uk. It says that the deal lasts to the 27/07. Also note that it has an extra 1GB of ram over the 16gb model

LG G3 is a next-generation 2014-released phone produced, designed and marketed by the Korean manufacturer, LG. The flagship phone models a classic, metallic body that looks extremely elegant and stylish. It showcases a huge 5.5 inches Quad HD display that offers astonishing 538ppi pixel density at 2,560 x 1,440p. The display is amazing for watching HD movies and playing 3D games. The device operates on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.46GHz Quad-core processor along with 3GB RAM for swift and seamless app processing. Powered by Android OS v4.4.2 (KitKat), the handset allows you to download and enjoy from over 1,000,000 different apps, games and utilities via Google’s Play Store.

Its improved user interface enables you to remove unwanted visual elements and each function features a different colour, making it easier for you to find what you need at a glimpse. The device features a 13MP camera at the back that allows you to capture breathtaking pictures and record lifelike videos. An amazing 2MP front facing camera is also part of the design that can be used for video calls and self-shots. Other camera features include – OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Laser Auto Focus, Dual LED Flash and Touch & Shoot function. The handset comes with 32GB eMMC internal storage that is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, allowing you plenty of space to keep all of your important data in one place.

The device also includes a 1-Watt Speaker with boost amplifier that enhances your music experience by producing exceptional sound quality without the need of additional speaker. Other notable features of the phablet include – 4G/LTE network support, A-GPS/GLONASS Navigation, HDMI, Bluetooth, NFC, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi and a Powerful 3,000mAh removable battery.

If you have Halifax Clarity credit card and you pay 583 in euros it will be £461 on your card.

It looks like just after i posted the watch has ran out of stock, but i tested it and the watch is still free at checkout. So the wait might be worth it? :D (1-3 weeks delivery)

Nice potential to get the phone for around 350 if all goes well. Also lovely if you actually want both.

I'll stick with my oneplus though because I cba with all the selling :)

any idea if these come unlocked?

Yes it comes unlocked and works on all uk networks with 4g. You can change the language to English on the initial setup of the phone as well

Like to order this how do I go about it please help
is it possible to translate it?
Do you need to add watch to basket or do you just buy phone
and they send automatically?
#7
If you go to the link I provided you can tick the boxes of the watch and the g3 you want. The price gets subtracted at the end of the checkout process just before paying. And google chrome auto translates it for you, but you can always use the normal google translate service.

Any body seen these phones in real life? Which is the best colour?
In the pics I like the gold one but I've seen the samsung s5 gold in person and thought it looked tacky!
Any thoughts?

Isn't colour a personal preference? I'd go for the black as I like the titanium effect. Any gold phone looks tacky to me.

Yeah that's why I haven't gone for this deal. How pretty with the metal bracelet

I bought this phone a week or so ago. What are the chances they'll send me a watch if I ask them, and threaten to return and reorder?

Under the distance selling rules, you can return within 7d (although check - because it might be 14d now). You dont have to have a reason.

Honest question here and no hint of trolling.
What does this offer other than a bigger screen, (not always welcome), better camera and faster processor over a Moto G 4G?
I'm not against premium phones or gadgets, having had iPads, Nexus 7s, iPhones in the past. I'm using a Moto g as I couldn't see the reason to buy an iPhone again for 3+ times the price. Same issue here what would I gain?

Soooooooo many problems with this handset, I'm on my second and it has made no difference to the problems with the aux port (check out the other thread here and on XDA forums).

You have to arrange your own return, and make sure you insure it for the value.

They give you the cash back for the return postage, but still, it is a bit of an extra hassle.

It depends what you use a phone for. I don't play games or watch movies on mine so the larger screen and the latest SoC aren't crucial. The Moto G is perfect for browsing, music, apps, so that's what I use.

It is true.. but premium comes with a price. New technologies you pay for. Flagship phones you pay for. The brand you pay for. The quality is going to be better.

Yes probabably you will not benefit much but it is basically saying do you buy a Mercedes or a Corsa.
#23
Seems a very good deal. I hear there are overheating issues with this phone though?

I'd say more is it a Merc SLR or Ford Racing Puma.
Both great cars but one costs a lot less and is brilliant at what it does.

Ok I'll stick with my moto.

bought, this is an awesome deal. I m actually going to sell the G Watch on eBay as i already have an Pebble Steel. It then bring the total price to well below £350, that is OnePlus One price range with a much higher specs! this is a great find!
#26
I have requested to return my phone for a refund and reordered this. This has a double bonus as the price of the phone is cheaper than when I bought it one week ago and the Free Watch to boot.

Thanks OP!

The phone heats up quite a lot if you actually use it - again, on the other thread some folk say it is as cool as a cucumber, but it is a well known issue that the phone heats up around the camera lens.

I did an OTA upgrade for it the other day and by the time it had rebooted and consolidated all my apps I couldn't make a call until it cooled down as it would have burnt my ear off!

I had a G2, currently using a moto g 4g as that's off for repair.
I get under 60% of the battery life, the screen is uncomfortably small for a lot of apps, it just plain struggles to multi task (use it for satnav and blue tooth music when driving and it keeps killing the music in the background as it struggles to run the satnav and vice versa), using any app or even the home screen has painfully noticeable delays.

Really, I think the moto g is a pretty terrible smartphone.

By the way, the price in £ is much cheaper than £480 specified in the deal.
My order total is €525.47 which according to Google is £415.91.

yes, i think the OP price of £480 is referring to the 3GB RAM model which is the rare one that UK doesn't have. This is a cracking price either way. If you sell the G Watch, the net price for the 3GB RAM makes it closer to £320, which is only about £40 more expensive than the OnePlus One, but with much much better specs and hardware features!
#33
£428 for the 16gb phone with a free watch
#34
I think it says you only get the watch while stocks last and since they are out of stock I don't know if you will get it?

You missed a few other points.

QI charging, you'll no doubt say it's useless and a gimmick but I've been using it for a year on my S4 and wouldn't go back

screen resolution, once you tried 4k you can't go back

GUI, Motorola did an ok job for their launcher and built in apps etc but it's only ok because it's £100, if it was a top phone you'd expect so much more and the LG delivers, the multi taking is insanely easy and fast, the text and email alerts are in mini pop ups which make my life very easy.

this is 4g, you'd need the 4g Moto g

the camera on this is not just better it's incredible, hardware auto focus and laser scanning, pics of prefect quality every time, also the new focus feature that allows you to blur the foreground or background is insanely cool.

build quality, Moto g is crap

significantly better battery life

the Moto g is great for the money but is overall a crap phone, I bought one use America whilst on holiday as my S4 was quite new and i hated every second it, I since bought an LG G2 blew away, is the logical next step

had my g3 for a month now, I got it with the free qi charger deal, bought another the wife now, thanks op

Ahh! Oh well it's still a bit cheaper than what I paid.

I've completed an order and it says my G Watch will be delivered between 12th and 14th of August. Where the phone will come in the next few days.

Did you select the delivery option as "I want my items faster. Immediately send once items are available." which has slightly higher postage but delivers the phone in the next few days... can you confirm ?

Excellent deal, many thanks OP.
