Are you sure quidco will pay out when you cancel the contract part?

I'm not so sure...however if you do it on topcashback and instore, they have the option of uploading the receipt. So I think one would be more likely.

T's and C's suggest that it won't be paid when you cancel:
Cashback is not paid on any cancelled/returned orders
Cashback will not be paid if you cancel a contract and start a new one to gain additional cashback
Cashback is only paid on free sims once they have been topped up and not on orders
Cashback is only paid if the sales are 100% completed online. If you cancel your order before receiving cashback then your claim will be disregarded

I bought my current phone by this method. Quidco also offer in store cash back £120 but states some stores don't qualify. I have opted for online purchase because this worked for me last time.

The whole point of o2 Refresh is having the ability to swap your phone whenever! All you do is pay off the handset tariff and you're free to do anything. You're not cancelling just following o2's Rules

People who have tried this method and failed.
I personally think this is morally wrong but hey this is HUKD people run to a store when they hear of a misprice. I usually tell the cashier of a misprice to make sure that I'm not short changing the store.

I think a few people on here experienced the Lumia 1020 refresh deal-don't expect cashback within a few months. Quidco agreed to pay mine themselves after 2 months as O2 have gone from being a fast payer to being a pile of xxxx on paying cashback

Quidco update. Tracking at £50 so far! Even if you wait 2 months for payment. It will still only cost £396 for phone.
#10
how will it only cost 396 the phone is 480 no matter what plus 50 off 430
plus few months of 18 quid

Quidco is currently £120 . Tracks at a lower rate initially.
£480 - £120 plus a few months at £18.

This will only cost you £360 in total - cancel the air time on the day you receive the handset.

I have done this 4 times now - Quidco has paid every single time.

how quickly did quidco pay?

Last one took about 4 months to pay as it didn't track and I had to raise a claim.

Good afternoon,

It has been brought to our attention that some Quidco members are taking out contracts with O2, cancelling the contract and then still receiving cashback for this sale. As per the standard terms and conditions for cashback, if a purchase is cancelled, then cashback would not be payable.

Please be aware that Quidco reserves the right to terminate any Quidco accounts whereby we deem the member to be misusing the service, this is outlined in our Quidco Account Holder Agreement, section 8.

The retailer is now reviewing this issue and will be taking precautions to ensure that transactions are not honoured where the sale has been cancelled. Any current tracked cashback where the purchase has been cancelled, will be declined

Kind regards,

Quidco
