Not going to put the technical specification as I'm sure you all know. This is a heads up.

TRUST ME - DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION

8 People including both me and my wife have all had this phone and ALL had the same issues with overheating, restarting, terrible lag, signal dropped etc etc, there is a HUGE amount of info on this on countless forums.

ALL of us have now switched the 32gb version after I bought one to try from Amazon Germany and none of the 32gb versions suffer from these issues. Maybe it's the 3gb of ram? I have no idea why but the 16gb version is pure hell, the 32gb version is total dream.... We bought a few recently from Amazon.de at 383 euros each which charged onto my credit card at £303.... the extra few quid over this is MORE than worth it.

In my experience Amazon give the best customer service should the device develops a fault. IMHO I don't know if the small amount of cash back elsewhere is enough to warrant buying elsewhere.

I find Amazon awkward to be honest, far less issues with Ebuyer and again been using them for years. I always wonder why people rate Amazon customer service so highly.

Wish I bought this instead of the Samsung S5 from Vodafone. Proving hard to unlock. Vodafone themselves took £20 and been a week and can't unlock it. Three different eBay sellers couldn't unlock it either.

Been over 14 days. Got it on Christmas Eve. Stuck with a phone I don't even use, as my SIM only contract is with EE. I wanted this LG as its unlocked but been out of stock for ages.

Only just 14 days and public holidays in that as well. I'd call voda customer service to find out if they'll accept a return or just return it asap, and blame it on the post. Or there's always flee Bay.

list it here. You would probably get close to what you paid.

I got this from Ebuyer last week and had the lollipop update come though. If you get this phone do not do the update as there are battery drain issues which after speaking to LG will be fixed in the next update sometime after February. I ended up flashing Kitkat back on to it and I have 2 days battery life back.

I would have preferred to order from Amazon if they had it at the time so hot from me.

Really daft the 3GB RAM/32GB version of the LG G3 is not available in the UK market, and need to buy their European version!
#17
As an LG G3 owner I really could not reccommend this phone. Battery life if absolutely abysmal and lets ne even get into lag and overheating

Yes, even boots up from new in the English language too (I expected german with buying from Germany)

My issue with ebuyer is their delivery fees, super saver always takes exactly 7 days for everything I've bought but I am a Prime member so it's free next delivery for me..... I went to buy a monitor a few weeks ago from ebuyer and it was free super save delivery or £34.98 for next day delivery, as a business owner myself I pay £4.15 for next day parcelforce for all my shipments and I know they ship a damn site more than me so will have much better rates.... £35 is daylight robbery, for that reason alone I paid £8 more for the monitor from Amazon!

Using it just now. Much better deal and the op should specify that it's only 16gb storage and 2gb ram

Amazon are! Although Richer sounds are pretty awesome too! Currys is awful in my experience.

I've never had any of the issues you mention with my 16GB G3 (expanded with 64GB Miro SD). Might just be lucky though, battery life isn't too good, but can't expect any different with this type of display
#26
Is the battery life better on the 32GB version?

It's the biggest thing putting me off getting this phone.

To counter your experience I used to buy from ebuyer all the time and in the mid 00's spent thousands. Only a few times did I have to return anything which in itself is fairly good but when I did have to (because they sent out the wrong item or once in a while I got a faulty product) they didn't ever refund me the return postage fees even when it was their mistake.

Over time they stopped being cheapest and Amazon started getting my custom and the couple times I've had to return products I've printed postage paid labels and not had to pay any return carriage. If I'm after a replacement and not a refund the replacement has arrived very quickly and on at least one occasion it arrived the next day after I requested it. Before I had even dropped off the faulty item.

If you really want to talk about crap online retailers Scan has to be top of that list with ebuyer and amazon nowhere near the top.

Totally agree I know of 3 people who have had the same issue.Personally wouldn't touch it even for 299

Because amazons customer support is top, and in my experience ebuyer take 2-3 days just to dispatch.

Maybe because Ebuyer returns staff post xmas pics with boards for who rejected the most RMAs?

It was cheaper over Christmas. No deal.

Last time I checked - it was no longer Christmas.

Since this is the cheapest you can get it right NOW - then it is a deal.

Those morons sent me a motherboard with bent pins - and then refused my RMA because "the pins were bent".

Yes - thats why I'm returning it because I got it this way.

I switched from eBuyer to Amazon two years ago and have not looked back. Amazon CS is amazing. eBuyer just don't care.

I've just received one from Amazon Germany. (Was £316 after shipping, bank currency conversion etc around xmas). All works fine and in English. Updated to lollipop fine. Not sure about battery time yet as I've been messing about with it a lot setting it up etc since it arrived, so using it more than i would for normally.

Same experience here. Ebuyer would fight and fight. Finally gave up on them completely when they tried to use a loophole that because I used my dads account, and simply entered a business address (he worked from home, self-employed), that my order was a "business" order, and thus had no warranty. I explained it was not a business order and was for me. They wouldn't listen. Wouldnt even bother sending an email to the board maker on my behalf!
Amazon has never let me down, and frequently gone beyond what I expected. I buy everything from them now.

Just had a look on the amazon uk site for 16gb version and was expecting to see one of worse bunch of reviews for a phone ever lol and oddly it aint all that bad, close to five stars.

Been using G3 16gb model for a week now. Not had any problems yet with. Canera is ok but not the best. Find battery life very good.
