I know :o) they get a bad rep but I have bought from them a few time and honestly never had a problem with them.

I think its when you get a problem that the trouble starts.

Fair enough but you will pay £443 in this case if you want Amazons legendary customer service. If it breaks send it straight back to LG. :o)

true in theory. I took 4 month old ds back to smyths recently. They did not want to know. Wanted me to send it back to Nintendo myself. I insisted they did it on principle but they were most put out. In the end it would have been less hassle to do it myself. Bottom line the retailers would rather abdicate their responsibility and the manufacturers seem happy with that. Just one example but seems to be the way it is these days.

You're not wrong. Pixmania point blank refused to engage with me on my 15 month old plasma that was kaput. Long story short, despite solicitor involved and advice to make a small claim, they hid behind the fact that they are French based, with only distribution points in the UK. Ever tried to make a small claim on a foreign company in the UK? Needless to say, neither have I. Panasonic coughed up half the (hefty) repair costs in the end. Pixmania are con artists.
