unlocked?

Maybe if you go for the talk mobile tariff

I bought a nokia 1661 for £10.95 on talk mobile to see

Good deal but I bought this one and the Nokia 1661 on similar deals and have to say the 1661 is a far less basic no-frills phone than this. The LG looks quite smart I guess but boy is it basic! Only got them so I could ring my kids to tell them to come home from the park so both do the job just fine!

^That battery in nokia is worth the £3.45 to me.

if i were to buy this on orange network could I use the credit on another orange phone or only on this one?
#8
good basic phone

decent phone, got this last time it was on here. mine came unlocked (used o2 and orange) and was perfect for the job when I was working for a week in Copenhagen.

HOWEVER, I never received the £10 credit. I called a few times asking for the topup and theyve sent me a cheque for the amount instead in the end.

oh, and Quidco tracked at about £7.50 or something.

I Bought the 1661 earlier this week and it was delivered today. It is unlocked but as donttouchthehair said it came without the £10 credit. They say it could take pto 2 daus to credit but I bet I have to phne them on Friday to get a £10 cheque.....

It sure does. *Mod Edit. Attempt at Sarcasm.
A good attempt too, I thought.

Thanks glen, ive been looking for some cheap phones for the guys at work, who are looking for replacement phones with GPS, its normally expensive but, at that price instead of paying a small fortune for 10, its now only cost me a shade over £100.

Super advise, thanks, ordered.....

Just reading the above - I agree - that really goes against the grain of the forum. Did you order the phone off the back of that? I hope they're pleased with themselves. Perhaps you should report their post.

I bought one of these from e2save. I feel ripped off because mine cost 99p X) It's not a bad little phone. It does the job. I ordered it on a Thursday and it was delivered by Courier on the Saturday. I got a card with it and got credited £10 after i put the code in. No complaints. Of course no GPS, WI/FI, bells and whistles. It is just a phone. What do you want for 90p? X)

Hi all

I'm thinking of buying this phone, just a question:

The Orange starter pack you get put on to begin with, well can I switch to Dolphin package right away and get the free 300 texts, with the £10 Airtime that comes with the phone?

Thanks :)

The 90p Nokia 1661 deal is still available, if you prefer it - better spec???

It's got an FM radio and a torch :)

All CPW phones are unlocked I'm told. [e2save is owned by CPW]

Yes the two I have bought from CPW were both unlocked. This one and the 1661.

The pair of them were idiots to post what they did
BUT surely you saw the word "sarcasm" there in the 2nd post ?
Reading it, I thought "No-one's daft enough to believe it'll have GPS and WiFi for 90p....."
I was wrong.
