I know its richer sounds but i got mine no problem, around 50 quid cheaper than elsewhere.
Just the thing for the christmas movie season.
If you want your home cinema to not only sound the part, but look it too, then the LG HT805PH is a great place to start.
At the heart of this LG home cinema system is a good quality DVD player. Coming complete with upscaling to 1080p and an HDMI output, you'll get a superb quality picture from your DVDs, especially if you have a 1080p TV to make the most of it. You'll notice more detail than usual with DVD and an added sense of realism. The LG HT805PH also produces vivid colour and smooth motion with action films. In addition to DVDs, the HT805 will also playback DivX encoded discs.
Featuring decoding for Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic II, the HT805PH gives excellent surround sound results with either digital or analogue (from TV) signals. With five elegant satellite speakers, including smart "tallboys" at the front, and VSM (Virtual Sound Matrix) you get a spacious, enveloping sound that no TV could hope to match within its built-in speakers. Then there's the subwoofer. Designed to be tucked neatly out of sight, the subwoofer boosts bass to give a cinema-like feel and a presence of "being there". With a powerful 136 max power per speaker, the HT805PH is more powerful than typical one-box home cinema DVD systems. Combined with the punchy subwoofer it gives the LG a weighty sound that's sometimes hard to believe is coming from such slim speakers.
Other great features with this LG home cinema system include a USB socket with USB Plus and Direct Recording. This allows you to plug in your MP3 player or other media device and rip music from CDs which are, of course, playable on the DVD drive - no computer required! A built-in FM radio is perfect for catching up with the news or music in the morning whilst an auxiliary input lets you hook up your MP3 or iPod.
For an elegant solution to one-box home cinema, the LG HT805 has all the right answers.
