LG IPS224V 22" LED Backlit IPS 1080p Monitor - £102.03 @ Amazon
This is the new version of LG's previous IPS225V E-IPS monitors. Features HDMI, DVI and VGA. I gather it will use the same panel, so all that may be different is the chassis/stand? Possibly improved firmware and internals. Nice price either way, and a good, cheap option for a triple monitor setup :)

Thanks for the link. Seen any reviews for the monitor?
An iphone has an IPS panel.
Usually means wider viewing angles and some colour differences.
Overall its pretty good to get one now as the prices have dropped(I got my IPS panel monitor for £170)...

The IPS225V was a good panel but plagued with light-bleed issues and a very thin stand that didn't support it properly.
IPS monitors tend to give far better colour reproduction and have better viewing angles than a TN, the downside being that they tend to suffer from input lag - this means that a signal sent to the monitor can have a noticeable lag when it's displayed on screen - the lag is in milliseconds - only an issue in reality to a twitchy FPS player (some of them even notice lag on TN - wasn't long ago I saw people at LAN lumping CRT monitors around as they have zero lag). Cheap TN monitors can also be responsible for washed out blacks and smearing of colours.
For almost everyone, including serious gamers an IPS monitor is a good choice, if this uses the same panel as last years then last years review is a starting point although the back electronics can and do make differences - that said it's £100 for a full HD 22" monitor....

The included stand is improved. Not as wobbly as the 225V but not rock solid either. I got some vesa brackets and made some stands for mine. Rock solid! 8)
Thanks!
There are lots of reviews of how flimsey the monitor is, which I'd agree with a little bit.

Ditto using it now, great monitor, ticked all my boxes, led, ips, thin bezal, hdmi. dvi and vga and vesa!!, Have mine mounted by vesa so didnt try the stand. Oh and you can turn the front led off :) . Want to get another eventually.
You're always better off with external speakers in such a thin monitor. Soundbars are probably going to be this christmas's big thing.
I like it, it's very very thin and light. I heard the stand is wobbly but I never tried it. It went straight on my desk arm.
Been playin sleeping dogs on it loads and other games. Looks great
