LG IPS234V 23" LED LCD HDMI IPS Monitor @ Ebuyer £112.99
I previously posted this monitor [link in first comment] and it seemed like a great deal.
Even cheaper now, and well worth the price. Read the previous thread for reviews etc.
Edit: Looks like Amazon have price-matched this if you're interested, here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008F7GW2K

Looking for a similar size monitor with VGA & HDMI inputs..
If not, this could be the one for me!

Unlikely to get a same-specced model for cheaper, unless you perhaps find a little known brand name. It's well worth the price :)
On the monitor I received there was near zero backlight bleed and the blacks looked inky black once it was calibrated. The monitor, like most IPS screens does suffer from slight IPS glow when the monitor is viewed at extreme angles, causing blacks to turn milky grey.
I have one, I too was put off my the reviews on the stand. It's fine on our desk which is firm and does not vibrate or wobble. So I think it depends on how much vibration your desk picks up, or maybe how hard you hit the keyboard, or your head against the desk! lol (_;)
Great screen, hot!

Not just that its 1p cheaper. I'd probably buy it from Amazon if it was a couple of quid more expensive due to their unparalleled customer service.
Wobbly stand, and I know it's subjective, but much nicer to look at than a TN monitor.
I bought mine from Amazon for £112 something and it's well worth the money.
Be aware it has an external PSU.
Very "fake" prank.
