**FOUR colours are available. They are Black, Pink, White and Wine-Red.**

BuyMobilePhones.net have the LG KG800 Chocolate on orange with 12 months free line rental on a 12 month contract (after cashback). For £0 (after cashback), you get the LG KG800 Chocolate Pink (for FREE!!), 12 months free line rental (after which you may cancel) and the choice of four great Orange tariffs.

All of the tariffs are on Orange and have 12 months free line rental with a 12 month contract, after cashback. The tariffs are different, however, as each one offers a different number of inclusive minutes and text messages each month and you pay a different initial monthly outlay for each one. For full details of these tariffs, go to the BuyMobilePhones site using the "Go to Deal" button. The tariffs included are Orange Canary £30, Orange Dolphin £35, Orange Racoon £30 and Orange Racoon £35.

This offer works by cashback which you claim from BuyMobilePhones.net at specified intervals. If you wish you can purchase via QuidCo.com who will give you £20 in extra cashback, meaning you can make a PROFIT of £20 on the whole thing!! Remember to cancel itemised billing if you don't want it because Orange charges £1.50 per month for this service. Remember to cancel the insurance if you don't want it as it's quite expensive. As usual, send claims recorded/special delivery as soon as you get the bill and you'll be fine. Our users have found BuyMobilePhones to be a respected and reputable retaileri n their field.

Does anyone know if these phones are unlocked?
#8
I have ordered 2 Orange phones from buymobilephones, both Motorolas, both locked, all Orange phones tend to be locked.

LG K800 can be unlocked though for £5-£10 depending where you go.
#9
This is a really nice little phone.

I ordered on on the Phones 4 U offer posted on here last week. Phone arrived last night. 400 mins on O2 per month plus one hundred texts for about £40 over the term following quidco.

Am very pleased.

Going to go for one of these orange deals - I am choosing between this, the Samsung E900 and Samsung X820.

Any recommendations?
#11
E900 comes bottom of the list for all 3, if you don't need vanity and a few extra features and want something slim, get the X820, otherwise get the K800 imo.

don't forget quidco!

I didn't write the merchant there, it must have been Admin.

Sorry if you wasted your time writing it out... I'll look into changing that - as long as it still comes up when people type in BuyMobilePhones then it should be fine.

As for the BuyMobilePhones T&Cs, the whole "mess up one claim and lose the rest" thing is pretty much standard across the mobile phone retailers thing.

To be honest, you aren't expecting to lose ANY claims so it shouldn't matter. As long as you keep up your end of the bargain, you will get the cashback. It's easy to be confused or forget but if you're organised well and send recorded delivery then you should recieve your cashback fine. Also, BuyMobilePhones are one of the better retailers when it comes to sending out the cheques.

I should have read their T&C's properly. I feel so stupid but that's what happens when you rush into things and you've lots going on.

The welcome pack from this company was first class, more than I got from themobileoutlet.
#20
Yeah, they will be a better company to deal with than The Mobile Outlet.

But having said that, I don't have any complaints about the Mobile Outlet at all, I've never had to complain about anything but should I have to then I'd simply use our special email address for them and I'm sure that it would get sorted.

Will do, the twofaced hypocrisy of it at the time was hilarious, for me at least :whistling:

What special email address?

I have a unsigned cheque from CNM that I posted to my bank today, can you help when that gets returned to me?:giggle:

:giggle: You have to admit dino, it was at least slightly funny.

I don't think any of us with full rep blocks can say we've never made a mistake along the way.

Be careful with this company. What they don't specifiy on their website terms and conditions is that you have only 14 days from the date printed on your latest bill to send in to them (3 times as well - after 4th, 8th and 12th). Now taking my mobile service provider as an example, I am lucky if my bills come through the door 7 days after the date written on them. Sometimes as late as 10 days after. That would gave as little as 4 days possibly to make sure the bills got to them.

As long as you make sure you don't go away for even a few days around months 4, 8 and 12 of your phone contract you should be OK!
#26
Erm they do tell you.

It's quite clear on their terms and conditions.
If you don;t read itand screw up, thanks for subcidising my contracts

The sooner people learn cashback contracts are there to trip you up the better.

Actually no it's not clear in their terms and conditions. Firstly you have to scroll through 2 links to get there, and it's not clear where the t&c's for the cashbacks are located.

Secondly as far as I can see, all it says is that the time period will be set out in the voucher you receive - which as we all know, a fair proportion of customers often don't receive anyway. Nowhere on their site, as far as I can see mentions that the bills need to be in within 14 days of the date stamped on them

Personally, i am not comfortable getting a good deal on the basis that anyone less savvy to the way these deals work are quite likely to be stung - and in the case of this company, a hell of a lot are likely to be stung, beacuse their terms are neither clearly set out and available, or even remotely reasonable.

I genuinely don't understand how you can be comfortable with this. There's getting a deal that others might miss out on ,and getting a deal that is only possible because of personal cost to others. This falls in the latter category and I'm not comfortable with that.
#28
Theres a clear section for cashbacks, I found mine fine.
It might of changed however.... I just checked, it was there I'm sure.

TBH if anyone is unsecure ducks guideline cashback guide clearly states to query them if you are unclear about something.
They are a decade old company which have served me fine.

You are right though, being this vague is not good and bordering on breaking the law, im sure if they were notified it would change.

The company is good... Try clicking on the link in my signature and going for the cashback tips!!

I must admit I did not see anything about the 14 days in their T&C's. I found it on their cashback claims I received with the Mobile today.
Their T&C's:-
http://www.buymobilephones.net/store/info_terms.ihtml?id=12

16.1. Line rental refunds for 12 month contracts, text pack/bundle refunds and cash backs will be paid in three equal parts; on month four, month eight and month twelve for your contract by redemption of the appropriate voucher.
Redeem your voucher by sending in your voucher and your latest four airtime bills within the time period set out on the voucher. Acceptance of claims for the second and third installment will depend on acceptance of all previous claims. Bills received after the period specified will not qualify for line rental refunds or cash backs. Bills must show no outstanding money from previous bills and Claims are subject to you remaining on the same pay monthly tariff as you were originally connected.

I remember what happened now.
The voucher tells you how long you have to send bills in from the last one you have, all vouchers say 14days, I knew this in advance of ordering my 2 contracts with them and didn't have a problem with it.

BMP are a bit cheeky to not tell you this information before you order, but as I said I knew this in advance and this information is all over the feedback forum thread.
#32
Just looked through duckmagic's info threads. There is no mention there either of the 14 days. Basically, anyone taking up these deals on the basis of the recommendation of posters with great feedback on this site are in for a nasty little shock when (maybe that should be 'if') they receive the vouchers.

I am sorry, I really don't understand why you guys keep posting these deals. I am presuming you don't get anything out of it personally, so why do it? They are clearly way too restrictive and without posting the details of the cashback procedure, which isn't even available from the company's site, you are making it worse.

If you must post the 'deals', then I say the details of the cashback procedure need to be in the post itself. If all you are interested in is helping people find a good deal (presumably the point of this site) then surely there would be no problem with this. Incidentally, I wish people shouldn't be referring to 14 days from when you get the bill. It is 14 days from the date on it. For an example, I just got a Virgin bill dated 8 Feb. It came through the door on the 17th February! There then was the weekend, leaving me 2 days within which to get it to them had it been with this retailer. Had I been away for work for a few days - well that would be it for this and all all future claims as well. Seriously, why post these?
#33
I think it should be added to any mobile deal if a cashback, there should be a box with all the cashback details.

They post them because if you find out and abide by all the cashback terms you save hundreds, me and my family have done so without problems.
To repeat, cashback contracts are designed to be tricky, they really DO NOT want to hand out the cashback claims they advertise so put in legal obstacles, it'll be interesting to see where this trend goes however.

Your virgin contract date gap sounds horrible though. In that case if close/on/late in sending in the claim i;d give a covering letter saying Virgin can take 2-3 weeks to deliver this post, and just kindly mentioning if they don't honour the claim by the deadline mentioned in T&C's you will consider legal options.

Hard, annoying, unreasonable terms admitedly if post takes that long to get to you.
Before I took out my two BMP contracts I am 100% certain I found out the 14day limit before ordering on HUKD, it was ages ago though.
It should be clearly stated on the BMP feedback thread though along with the example of your slow posting gap leaving you little window of opportunity.

For most organised people who are strict and disciplined cashbacks are not a problem, for those that screw up, possibly unfairly... they are subcidising the rest of us unfortunately...

I have been using full cashback phone deals for years, must be about five I think. I take out between 6 and 8 new contracts per year for Family etc.
This Company seem to have the strictest time for getting your claims in, I suspect I'll have to use Special Delivery to get these in on time but I've got a free phone and free calls so £5 per claim for Special Delivery ain't too bad.
I contacted them this morning about the T&C's for only one Cashback per household and apparently that will be changing. I told the Customer Services Lady that unless it's in writing I'll be cancelling the second order.
No email from them, so after Lunch I'll phone back and cancel.
TBH, if I had read their T&C's or I knew about the 14 Days (I know what your gonna say Schizo) I don't know if I'd have used them.
I could get the same deal (near enough) from themobileoutlet but with longer to get the claims in:-

Agree totally. I have never had any problems - but should add I have only ever used cpw group or phones4u. Between me and extended family/ wifes family, must have done a couple of dozen contracts over the years and never not received a payment. It can be a bit stressful though. Before cashback, I remember taking advantage of Orange's pay upfront for a year deals. You could get those boxed and discounted for as little as £20 up front, all in.

I think over the last year or 2, some of them have become so restrictive as to take it beyond being organised and efficient to make sure you get the cashback. I really am not comfortable at getting deals beacuse other consumers are being done over. I feel that some of these deals have become like that. I have met quite a few people who had no idea what they were letting themselves in for and when they don't provide the proper info on their website like in this case, then it's really out of order. Personally, I could never recommend a deal that needs 14 days, because of my experience with receiving Virgin bills so late. Also, and I mentioned this on another thread, because the harder deals tend to be with the best phones, they get noticed more on the mainpage. This means that deals like the recent phones4u ones, which I took up, disappear quickly from the board, and rarely get voted hot.

If we are all agreed that adding in the cashback procedure in posts of mobile deals will be the norm - including a note that the time restriction runs from the date on the bill not when you receive it - , then that is great. That way someone new to these deals will easily be able to see the difference between deals and will know what is right for them and if they want to take the risk for the latest non clearance models.
#36
I'll admit, I must of been lucky to find out before ordering and seeing the voucher.

But EVERYONE, should read the Terms and Conditions on cashback offers before ordering simple, if you see something amiss, contact them, it's not hard.

Clearly BMP have decided to keep this information on vouchers only which is cheeky but something they would inform any customer about upon enquiry.

Their contact us page is good and I usually have gotten replies within 48hours max.

If you don't like the company, noone is forcing you to order from them...
