Yeah but you have to purchase £10 credit, plus £3.99 delivery, making it much more expensive.

Cheaply made, feels a like a kids phone but wouldn't imagine it would last them long, if you really have to buy a budget touch screen get the samsung tocco lite for £10 more.

Anyone know?
Or is it a take-it-to-the-dodgey market stall/shop job?

I got this phone for £100 when it was first released and have been using it daily and I hate it, I've updated the firmware, but it still crashes and switches its self off at random, the orientation sensor that allows you to switch between landscape and portrait mode very rarely works as it's supposed to, the touch screen is unresponsive and in general it sucks :(

Not voting on the deal, but this phone's best avoided as you'll probably find yourself looking for another upgrade after a few months.

Seems to be a phone you either love (most) or hate (a few)- although not many people seem to mention your crashing problems - reviews here:

I have had this phone in pink since feb this year its absolutely terrible. Its near impossible to text on especially if you are trying to quickly send a message. My phone randomly switches itself off and sticks when im trying to do anything on it. The thing drives me crazy to the point where i have considered smashing it off a wall:) Maybe I got a dud but wont be getting an lg phone or touch screen again.

hot!

oRDRED ONE!

Agree with danieldi32, its worth a few extra pounds to get it unlocked from www.mobiles.co.uk.
(Should get £10 topcashback/quidco from there too.)

We got the White O2 for our daughter (tesco £87 when you spend £30 instore) and she loves it.

Tesco also had their own pink LG Cookie instore for about £74. We ended getting the O2, so she can use O2 and hopefully Tesco sim if it works (but not checked out)..

I personally think it's plasticky, light and looks like it will break easily. After purchasing it, a few friends have warned us about it getting damaged while in a pocket/bag as happened to their kids phone; so we've also ordered a case for it from Amazon, just to give it that extra protection.

£70 from Currys is a good deal, even though I personally don't like shopping from currys because of their poor customer services.

Currys is pretty strict with security.
They called me back for some Security crap.

I was at work fiddling with something annoying and the lady asks for my birth year. As I wasnt concentrating on the call, I told her the wrong year ( 06 instead of 05 ) and then she goes - you are trying to fame someone, you havent passed security blah blah :x

So, concentrate when they call u. :w00t:

I CAN confirm that this phone turns itself on & off, crashes and many other strange faults regularly. Rubbish !

I've read that from a few reviewers, is there a way round it like getting firmware update? Our daughter hasn't had any problems with it yet, but early days I guess. Hopefully Tesco will sort it out if anything goes wrong within first year of warranty.
