don't know , but press the red button and it transports ya to the enterprise

It will probably be locked to o2. But you will struggle to find a phone with this spec anywhere near this price.
#7
never came across a locked o2 phone yet
#8
Most o2 payg phones (besides carphone warehouse ones) are locked to o2. I've never seen an o2 contract phone that was locked.

Having ordered a few payg phones from o2.co.uk over the years, they've all been locked to o2.

I will second that, payg phones from o2 are locked and contract phones are not.

Mazuma will actually pay £38 for a used one, so if you don't like it and the quidco tracks you will make a small profit....

I want to give this phone a try, but will CEX drop the price/refuse to buy if they see an influx of these?
#12
Just ordered one thanks

Been ripping my hair out for 6 months because my Sony Ericsson K550I refuses to respond to button presses and won't let me answer calls.....

This deal may just have saved my relationship lol

Looks compltely rubbish, anyone actually used one of these?
#15
I've had one and it's honestly the worst phone i've used. Constantly turned itself off and lost its data. I took it back and got a samsung instead :)
#16

#17

Stay clear of this phone , mine was a nightmare kept turning itself off, sent it back to be repaired but came back with the same problems. AVOID

Got this just over a week ago for my dad, it looks nice, and has impressive specs for the price, but the firmware is very bugy, not LG's usual quality to say the least. Like other posters have said the phone does switch itself off and loses its settings.

Cheers, bought for CEX.

Anyone having payment problems? My card goes through (play.com; just now), but they get declined (online and on the phone). Different cards, different addresses, new O2 account....I can't work it out!

Who are you agreeing with? I think the consensus is that O2 pay and go phones are locked (except for Carphone Warehouse) but 'most' contract ones aren't!
Which has also been my experience so far!

payg ones are nearly always 100% locked regardless of network

As one of the poor sods that work for them, i'm saying yeah they will. An influx is usually one customer selling multiple items though. They wont drop the price if 50 customers all sell the same item. We always get an influx of new phones when people are due contract upgrades.. Our shop alone ended up with about 30 N96 phones within the first week of release but head office didnt drop the price. If one customer sells multiple items in on a regular basis, they usually do a check online and offline to see if its available cheap and then change prices accordingly. If the O2 site was working, i'd order one myself to sell in :P

edit: in regards to the refusing, that is purely managers discretion. Our shop buys in anything regardless of how many we have.. whereas a lot of smaller shops will refuse to buy in stuff they have a lot of because its a waste of space for the smaller shops

Would you recommend this for an old relative who just wants a simple to use phone with easy to use buttons ?

Thanks.
