I got one from Overclockers a couple of weeks when it was on offer. I was going for the Samsung 22" on Ebuyer, but they put the price up by £35 at the time:x .

Can honestly say, "buy one!! ...you won't be disappointed!". Excellent clarity, shows colours brilliantly, very fast - no ghosting on latest games and I had no dead pixels. Widescreen DVDs look great. Monitor has a neat trick in that if you buy more than 1, you can link them up using a USB hub...great idea if you have the desk space and more importantly the money as well (I don't :-( ).

Absolutely no regrets buying it....:-D

Is it as good as the Samsung??? I think both are as good/similar as each other in terms of performance. Samsung has I think height adjust. LG has left & right swivel. Samsung is black screen & black stand, while the LG is silver bezel, piano black stand and monitor back. You could go on with these minor differences. End of the day, what do you like the look of and what deal can you get.... This deal looks good as its under £200 and also includes free delivery....

Yes would like to know too if this would be fine for my 360 and PC rigged up together and just switching from one to the other?

It has VGA and DVI, so If your PC has a DVI out then I don't see why you can't hook them both up and swap between devices.

Perhaps someone else can clarify whether you have to power down one device before switching to the other, or not.

was thinking of DVi for 360 and VGA for PC m8 really, via a converter for 360 via Dvi...
Cheers

Got one delivered myself yesterday from Scan.com as part of their daily/weekend special prices and was £199 delivered (within 2 days).

Good news for you - it has TWO input sockets - one analogue/digital DVI (with HDCP per their literature) and one analogue VGA-D15.

One of the 5 buttons is for SOURCE which toggles the display between the two sources. To quote from the manual: "Use this button to make D-Sub or DVI connector active. This feature is used when two computers are connected to the display. The default setting is D-Sub." The clear implication is press to toggle between two active sources. I'm using just DVI and it defaults to that as the (only) active signal.

Both sockets peak at resolution "VESA 1680 x 1050 @ 60 Hz" in analogue/digital formats.

The literature makes no mention of any higher resolutions - eg treatment of a 1080 HD and similarly no mention of a 720 HD signal.

Google and you'll find some claiming to have 720p working on it but not higher.

It does come with both DVI and VGA cables!

I'm very pleased so far - though having a perfectly flat and 1680x1050 display after three years of an almost flat 1280x1024 is taking a bit of getting used to.

This is the inferior model to the 226WT. Just so people don't confuse them...

I think you'll find the contrary.

The old L226WT model was quoted as a 5ms panel, the L226WTQ as 2ms, otherwise specs seem identical.

Maybe you're referring to some comments in the US when the WTQ first appeared as WT replacement and there was an apparent firmware bug that caused some ghosting for some users, but the story goes that the later appearing European WTQs already had revised firmware and that bug never surfaced here ?
