LG LCD 32inch 1080p tv - £139.47 Instore @ PC World
Sorry my previous post was wrong, got an LG not a bush! Too many beers...
Was roaming the streets for a budget lcd to keep me going for a year or 2 till I can get an LED 3d tv. After numerous wanderings I found in pcworld this lg tv for £139.47! Down from £398! It was the last in store and a display model but I saw there were also 37inch models too. i asked about it and found the Edinburgh store had the 37 inch for £167! Figured it would cost me £30 to travel there and back so just went for the 32inch, it has only 1hdmi but also a usb, scart and pc plug. The tv's dont appear on the website as they seem to be the end of the line but the staff seemed miffed I got this deal! I got m tv from Perth but there were 37inch bush LG37LK450U in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk amongst others, there is a 40 inch aswell but didn't find out that price. Maybe worth checking your local stores. I doubt the tv is brilliant but I have only had crts so looking forward to giving it a go, thought £140 was well worth it. This is my first deal so let me know if i'm dong good or bad, thank you.

Pros: Good SD and HD pictures, above-average sound, decent connections
Cons: No Freeview HD, poor manuals, transparent backgrounds on menus and EPG
A 32LK450 for £200 would be an excellent deal, for £139 it's a steal.

Thanks.
Cheers.
Is there any other way to get their direct number?
Have a 32" LG myself with FreeviewHD, internet connection etc.First LG TV I've bought and am impressed with them.
You'll probably have to do some tweaking to get the colours, contrast etc just right, but it will be worth it.
Hopefully this set has comprehensive adjustments like mine has.
Heat added.

So, I believe (from what the guy in Curry's/PC World told me) there are all the ex display models. I wouldn't ordinarily touch these with a bargepole, but for £139 (with remote and lead, stand and 12 month warranty, but no box) I'm more than happy (it's a second set for the dining room).
Indeed - get rid of the shop set up straight away and have something more akin to reality and it's not a bad set at all...one of the guys on the staff seemed to be kicking himself for missing out :)
Cheers.
