Does this have built in Freeview and a usb slot so I can watch films etc?

Got this (or at least the earlier version which has two HDMI inputs) off a certain auction site a couple of years ago for £130, great full HD monitor/TV

It does have a USB port but I think it's only for JPEGs and MP3s. It does have Freeview though

Got this for £119.99 on the ebay/ebuyer deal of the day in jan.
Great tv for the bedroom!

Seems hot, kinda of thing i am looking for

I have one of these as a bedroom TV - ex-display from Richer Sounds. Really pleased. Have had it since December last year
#10
Seems like a good price to me

Same price in Richer Sounds. I bought one for my mum the other day (Chester store). Great TV, looks expensive.
£165 with a 5 year warranty.

Bought this before Christmas 2009. There is a remote hack that allows video play back via the USB. I did it and it does work. BUT it is a bit of a faf to sort out. You need a programmable remote and software that a web search will tell you about. I installed a PPC remote programme on an old Pocket PC i had lying around and used that.

scorchio!

good make, nice looking, great price!

those people who have it, is this any good for gaming?
#16
Nice deal! I've been looking for a small, cheapish TV to use in kitchen / spare room and this could be the one...

excellent picture quality on this TV and great as a monitor

unfortunately the TV randomly switches on and off again which happened up to 4 times a day and I was using both DVI and HDMI so its not the cables

amazon offered me a replacement straight away with the usual amazing customer service. But the replacement TV suffered the same problem. Just returned it for a refund.

Anyone else experienced this problem?? i thought it was really unlikely to affect both the TVs i got but it still did. might get it again but i dont expect it to be much better

I tried my XBOX 360 on it, looked great in 1080p.
The sound is a bit tinny, but thats due to its compact size.

If this was a common fault it would surely be all over the net? I think its more likely to be your setup, either your cables or the devices they are connected to. If you didn't have anything connected (i.e. you just used it as a standalone TV) did you get the same issue?

I haven't had the chance to test out the freeview yet since I don't have a TV license. Still the chances of the problem affecting both TVs are pretty slim which is a shame cos it is a really good TV/monitor. Might give it another chance and (fingers-crossed) it should be fine.

Good TV/Monitor, mine is a refurb, I was given one of these by Dixons after my previous TV developed a fault. I also use it as a monitor too. It is a decent TV for gaming, played Monday Night Combat on it from my PC.

What is the difference between this one and the LG M227WD on amazon apart from the "P"?
